12 rules for life audiobook free download reddit

I just finished 12 rules for life and i really liked it. It is actually my second time reading it. It changed my perspective on a lot of topics. I was very different from other self-help books that i have read.

Before i read it i wasn't so sure if it was going to be any good because people on here say he makes a lot of biblical references but when i read it i found that he uses biblical stories to help illustrate his point in the same way that he takes a lot of other stories (like Pinocchio, etc) as well as stories from his clinical practice. To me it seemed like he used biblical stories as tool like he used any other story. So i don't quite understand what that fuss was all about, and he uses buddhism and Taoism but people never mention that.

People on this sub also mentioned that the entire book is laced with politics but that was not my experience.

All in all i think it was a pretty good book and i highly recommend it.

I’m currently listening through it. I guess I should have been warned, but I didn’t know he took the Bible so literally. It’s hard for me to listen to, because it sounds an awful lot like Peterson actually believes there was a garden of eden complete with naked bodies and a serpent.

Yeah, I like the interviews as well.

But listening to the book for hours together in a headphone really makes me want to hit my head against the wall.

I know it sounds like I'm exaggerating, but its really hard.

Chaps, I recall reading somewhere that there was going to be a 12 rules for life audiobook. I've preordered the Kindle book - but can't find anywhere to pre-order the audiobook.

Has anybody heard anything about it?

Don’t audiobooks take forever to come out? I don’t listen to them often and usually get them from my library.

I think he mentioned an audiobook in one of his videos, but not sure if he said there would definitely be one.

I remember seeing very recently on his Twitter that the recording of the audio was just finished, but nothing on the release date. I hope the editing won't take very much as i also prefer listening to audibooks

I was looking too, and I saw the audiobook listed for pre-order on Audible.com.au (Australia's Audible site), narrated by Peterson. I couldn't find it on US Audible, but I imagine it will be posted soon.

If you cannot look around the internet and find copies of about the 25% most popular stuff [1] out there for free, then I don't think the book can help you. Your sort of like the guy who asked me 25 years ago where to download free porn on the internet.

If you really really really get desperate and can't figure out how to get it off the internet, there are these things called libraries.

[1] I keep looking for a series made about 40 years ago featuring EJPeaker and Robert Morse called "That's Life". I know it will never be released legally because it was musical and to get the copyrights to all the music now would be prohibitively expensive. Still can't find it.

[2] Just to check, and no I didn't download it, I quickly got several hits not counting those on the Lumen database. I wonder how google gets away with posting those ( Lumen ) links.
