Is it possible to remove the original silver emblem piece on the steering wheel? I already ordered and received a red and silver emblem to replace it but can't seem to figure out how to remove the original one

disconnect the negative terminal on the battery so you don't blow the horn.

Get something thin enough to get underneath the original emblem and start working at it to pry it off evenly, so you don't break it.

Then just 3M double side tape the JDM one in its place.

^ that, but one thing i noticed when i put my emblem on.. after a few days the tape didn't work as well as it should.. so i went out and bought some silicone glue, you should find it at an auto store or a hardware store. there's a DIY about the specific kind to use somewhere..

I did this a while back. The problem is that it is held in my numerous plastic/rubber pieces. I took a tiny screwdriver to pry a small section up a little and used a razor blade to just cut the pieces away from the emblem. Looks like crap after and you are left with little white dots where the holes are but if you have the emblem to go in there it dosent matter in my book. After I cut them all I just pressed the new emblem that I got from graffix and it was done. I would take pics but I don't want to screw up my new emblem more than it already is.......long story on that but has nothing to do with removing the Chrome emblem. When I order my new emblem in the next couple days ill take a few pics after I take the messed up one off so you can see what I'm talking about.

You're gonna need pliers and a sharp knife/ exacto. Start pulling from the corners and as you come across the plastic tabs cut them carefully.
First picture shows you the beating your original emblem will take lol. Second pic shows you where all the tabs are.

Where can replacement emblems be found? Also, what if I just want a normal one without the red back?

The yellow plastic is showing through mine since I bought the car and I hate it. It's time to clean it up.

Silver H was removed and replaced with this. I had to use a little bit of sealant to make it look stock

I have one of the hard red ones but u will need some new tape or sealant to install it. I bought a replacement emblem off eBay and just painted it. Much cleaner looking install over the overlays IMO

Can I change my Honda emblem?

Whether your vehicle is JDM-spec or not, you can add a JDM Honda emblem on both the front and rear of your vehicle. Debadging and then rebadging your Honda is a tricky process. Doing it incorrectly can result in cosmetic damage like gouged paint or a crooked appearance.
