  • How to remove the bumper, all instructions

  How to remove front and rear bumper of the Audi A5 (2007-2016)

  Audi A5 I (8T/8F) (2007-2016)

  Front bumper

  The bumper is removed along with the grille.

  Depending on the model year and model type, the attachment is slightly different.

  -under the hood, unscrew the screws and take out the caps (twisted and inserted top to bottom) that secure the cover over the grille.

  -remove the cover grille.

  -under the cover Unscrew the screws (spun down).

  -wrenched the wheel to the left or right side depending on which side we will analyze first.

  -in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws and take out the rivets that attach the fender liner.

  -move the lockers aside and Unscrew the two nuts under the headlights (will need a head with a nozzle).

  -unscrew the screws and take out the caps on the perimeter in the bottom (spun up).

  -with the aide of tear the corners with the locks in the wings and pulls the bumper from the guide itself (you should follow the pins under the headlights to avoid scratching the paint on the wings).

  -if you have headlight washers, disconnected the hoses. The liquid leaking on the ground, you need to prepare a suitable container or tube.

  -remove connector from the PDC.

  -remove the connector from the fog lamp (if any).

  -remove connectors with additional electrical equipment (if available, depending on the equipment of car).

  
  
  

   

   

  Rear bumper

  -in the side panels in the trunk lid open.

  -under the covers unscrew threaded fasteners that secure the tail lights.

  -attach the lights to the sides and release the latches.

  -under the rear lights weaken one screw on each side.

  -from the trunk under the rear lights Unscrew one nut on each side.

  -unscrew the screws in the wheel arches that secure the wheel arches (not to remove the wheel , remove ratchet with a nozzle).

  -unscrew the screws around the perimeter in the bottom (spun up).

  -assistant free the bumper from the clips in the wings and pulled off of the guide itself.

  -if you have sensors, remove the plug (located under the skin in the trunk).

  -remove connectors with additional equipment (depending on equipment of car).
