Money well spent, as the software allowed me to quickly download my PIN from my truck using my old $15 BAFX ODBII Reader. Then, using the AlphaODB software, it was trivial to program this keyfob for my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 Ecodiesel. Just select the "program a Highline key fob" (which is the name the AlphaODB App gives the keyless [pushbutton] fob). Took all of 3 minutes to do all this after I got my BAFX paired to my Android tablet. And the new (now fully programmed) fob works great! My dealer wouldn't program it (they claimed "there are too many problems with 3rd-party fobs), and wanted $150 to program their $80 fob. Dealer also wanted $30 to give me MY PIN! Two different local locksmiths WOULD program this fob, but each wanted $120 to do so, with no guarantees of success. I am VERY satisfied with the value of this product. All you need is alfaobd on the Google store. No apple.. then either get the password from dodge or you can download app called pin pull. And it will cost you 20 dollars plus 49 for alfaobd.
