View on Google Maps Blue Ash announces summer events(April 28, 2021 – Blue Ash) From fabulous fireworks, to summer concerts, and movies under the stars, the City of Blue Ash is pleased to announce a 2021 events schedule aimed at bringing fun back into your summer plans. With thoughtful planning, Blue Ash is ready to provide a series of events, taking into consideration current state and local health department guidelines. For Memorial Day this year, the City of Blue Ash will continue to celebrate this holiday with a Memorial Day Ceremony only. The ceremony will take place on May 31 at 11:30 a.m. at the Blue Ash Bicentennial Veteran’s Memorial in downtown Blue Ash. The annual parade has been canceled. On July 4, the City of Blue Ash will be bringing back Red, White & Blue Ash as a fireworks-only event. The concert, as well as many traditional on-site experiences, will not take place. The Summer Concert Series returns with Tuesday Night Concerts at the Blue Ash Nature Park starting June 29 and Friday Night Concerts at Towne Square starting July 9. The Blue Ash Farmers Market is gearing up for its 2021 season at Summit Park every Wednesday, from May 12 through September 29, 3:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. The Summit Cinema will be showing movies on a giant screen, visible from any spot on the Great Lawn at Summit Park, May 19, June 16, August 18 and September 15. All movies start at dusk. There are also amazing new events coming to Summit Park–the Cincinnati Opera’s Summer at Summit performances and the O.F.F. Market! “After such a challenging year due to COVID-19, the City is thrilled to be getting back to some of our roots with a series of well-thought out and adapted summer events,” said Parks and Recreation Director Brian Kruse. “We aren’t completely back to normal in regards to full-scale events, but we hope that bringing back elements like the Red, White & Blue Ash fireworks show and altering some of our additional programs to current guidelines, will help bring some much-needed joy to residents and families in Blue Ash and across the Tri-State region.” Planning is still ongoing for Red, White & Blue Ash and the Summer Concert Series.
