The pork chops were tender, my husband who doesn't like pork chops liked it fine (I didn't tell him what it was, called it "meat"), but I found the onion soup mix to be too overpowering for the mushroom soup so if I try this one again I might try half a package of soup mix. It was simple and very little prep time though, just the kind of thing I'm looking for!
Wonderful! I used two cans of soup, two cans of water plus the onion soup mix. It worked out great! Lots of gravy but not a heavy onion taste. Thanks for sharing!
A very nice recipe, and the aroma was wonderful. I made one slight change and that was to add fresh sliced mushrooms to the skillet 15 minutes before the end of cooking time. Fantastic. The directions are easy to follow, and I will be making this dish again. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
Fantastic!!! I didn't have cream of mushroom so I used cream of chicken instead and it was just great. I added a bit of sage to the soup mixture before pouring over the chops and served over rice. Thanks for a great meal.
This is one of the few recipes I made when I first was married. It was simple, quick, and great tasting. For those nights you don't want to cook and need a meal quickly, give this recipe a try.

Even before I was vegetarian I was not a big gravy person, although did like them on my potatoes/turkey at holidays. This year for Christmas we decided to make Tofu Turkey Roast (#146092) so decided to find a vegetarian gravy to go with it. This was such an incredibly easy recipe which was very quick. The result was great. I really enjoyed this on the vegetarian turkey loaf. The consistancy was perfect. I admit I did not have wine so just used water which worked nicely as well. Thanks for such an easy, tasty recipe!
