Did anyone win the mega million tonight

After a buzzy near-record jackpot this summer, Mega Millions has climbed back up. Powerball isn't far behind.

WASHINGTON — Sure, it's no $1.377 billion jackpot — but the grand prizes for both Mega Millions and Powerball have been growing again.

Tuesday night's drawing was for Mega Millions, with a jackpot that climbed to an estimated $380 million. The winning numbers were 15-18-25-33-38 and the Mega Ball was 25 with a Megaplier of 2. 

There were no jackpot winners, so the next jackpot climbs to an estimated $410 million. Two people —  in New Jersey and Louisiana — matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball for a $1 million prize. In order to win the Mega Millions jackpot, a player needs to get all five numbers correct as well as the gold Mega Ball number. 

The game's next drawing is on Friday night.

No matter the jackpot's size, odds for winning the Mega Millions jackpot stay miniscule: One in 302.5 million.

It isn't the only game with a growing prize this week. Powerball's latest jackpot has grown to an estimated $353 million for its Wednesday night drawing. 

Both games have a smaller cash option for winners who want a lump sum — currently $198.4 million for Mega Millions and $185.6 million for Powerball. Most jackpot winners opt for cash instead of the full annuity.

The last Mega Millions jackpot was a near-record $1.377 billion won in late July. Two people came forward last month to claim that prize, but chose to stay anonymous.

While Mega Millions has the most recent buzz, Powerball says it holds the world record for largest jackpot with a whopping $1.586 billion prize won in 2016.

Mega Millions® is a multi-state jackpot game. Drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. During the drawing, six numbers are drawn: five white ball numbers and the gold Megaball® number. Matching all six numbers wins the jackpot. There are eight other ways to match and win prizes up to $1 million. Each play costs $2. For an additional $1, players can purchase the Megaplier® option to multiply all non-jackpot winnings by the Megaplier® number (2, 3, 4, or 5) selected.

1 Pick your numbers

Select five different numbers from 1 to 70 in the left side play area and one “Megaball®” number from 1 to 25 in the right side play area of the play slip. Use one panel (PLAY A - PLAY E) for each desired play. Each play costs $2.

2 Quick Pick

If you prefer having any or all of your numbers selected at random by the terminal, mark the “QUICK PICK” box for each play. All plays and play options selected on the play slip will be valid for the specified draw only.

3 Megaplier®

Marking the “MEGAPLIER® OPTION” box adds $1 to each selected play and will increase your non-jackpot prize by 2, 3, 4, 5, or other promotional number. Promotional multiplier odds may vary.

4 Multi-draws

Play up to 20 consecutive draws by marking the appropriate box under “MULTI-DRAW OPTION.” Each consecutive draw will cost $2 or $3 per draw with the Megaplier® option. NOTE: Multi-draw selections will be consecutive from the draw date requested.

5 Sign the Back of the Ticket

Upon purchase, SIGN the ticket back and SECURE your ticket. Check your selections to make sure they are correct. Player is solely responsible for verifying all selections on the ticket. PRINTED MEGA MILLIONS® TICKETS CANNOT BE CANCELED.
