With certain scents come certain memories. Old Spice might bring back moments with a high school boyfriend; a whiff of Chanel N°5 conjures time spent at your grandma's house. And, if there were a scent that embodied the '90s, it was (in my opinion) from Bath & Body Works. Remember Cucumber Melon? Pearberry? Country Apple? Well, it looks like the dream of the '90s is alive at Bath & Body Works. The brand caught on to our gentle nudging and has chosen to resurrect some of these long-gone fan favorites. As part of its #FlashbackFragrance campaign, from June 8 through July 5, the brand is bringing back six scents that we know and love, including White Tea & Ginger, Plumeria, Pearberry, Juniper Breeze, Cucumber Melon, and Country Apple. Although the packaging will be updated, the overall essence of the gels, mists, and body lotions that guided you through puberty will remain. We can already smell the middle school nostalgia. "These are our customers’ most-loved fragrances — they’re the ones they have amazing memories and stories of," says Phuong Ireland, Director of Brand Development for Bath & Body Works. "They're iconic to the Bath & Body Works heritage and what we were known for for a long time." Act fast come June 8, because, if we know anything, it's that '90s kids are suckers for a good throwback. This stuff will sell out fast.

BATH & Body Works lovers can still find their favorite discontinued products if they act fast.

Fans may have gone without their signature scent for some time so the beauty retailer could make room for new products.

While Bath & Body Works fans may have anguished after seeing a final dusty Cherry Blossom shower gel in the clearance section - all hope is not lost.

Apparently, the store has a page on their website where they highlight discontinued products, Insider reported.

On their website, the retailer wrote "You spoke up. We listened. That specific Bath & Body Works retired scents you always loved, but you just can't find anymore? Our Retired Fragrances page is your go-to source for all discontinued scents that are only available online!"

The page currently features dozens of products that were once thought to be extinct, including body lotions, shower gels, and fragrance mists.

However, there is a catch - Bath & Body Works did not specify how long these products would be available.

Therefore, if you rejoiced at the sight of Pink Chiffon body cream, it's important to note supplies may be limited.

Are you still thinking of some signature scents that you don't see? Bath & Body Works created an online form where fans can submit a request to bring an item back.

Store secrets

This comes as a Bath & Body Works employee Kaitlin Tucker exclusively told The Sun that some retired scents can be reused for a "new" scent.

That’s right: she claimed the popular candle, body care, and fragrance retailer sometimes repackages and renames old scents while advertising them as new.

“Obviously, it’s not been stated by the company, but as being a previous employee and working there for five years, you tend to catch onto things such as repackaging,” Tucker told The Sun.

“You know when your favorite scent is repackaged to something else.

“You’re like: ‘Oh my God, I know what this is but it’s not called the same thing.’”

For instance, Tucker said her favorite candle is Midnight Blue Citrus.

She believes it is a scent that’s repackaged during the holiday season as Snowflakes and Citrus.

While she said she doesn’t know the company’s exact reasoning for doing such a thing, she made an educated guess that they possibly “wanted to add in a crowd favorite” within their holiday scents.

Additionally, she said she’s certain another one of her favorites,  Bourbon Strawberry and Vanilla, was repackaged as Wild Strawberry Leaf.

If you’re not as accustomed to the Bath & Body Works scents as a seasoned employee like Tucker may have been, there’s another way to tell if your scent has been repackaged as something new.

Bath & Body Works candles, lotions, soaps, and scents include an ingredient list on the labels.

Tucker said all you have to do is simply look at the fragrances and the order in which they are placed on the ingredient label to see if they match a former scent.

“And even though they swap some of the words, they’re still very similar, and in the end; it’s just the same candle repackaged,” Tucker noted.

This comes as a Dollar Tree fan revealed store secrets that only employees know.

And this Walmart employee told The Sun the secrets that staff doesn't want you to know.

Does Bath and Body Works rebrand scents?

If you have been a fan of BBW for a while, you probably know they recycle/repackage their fragrances ALL THE TIME. They do this for both Body care & Home Fragrances. They change the name, and sometimes the scent NOTES themselves, and sell them as NEW.

Does Bath and Body Works rename old scents?
