Find the least common denominator of the rational expressions calculator

Our users:

Wow! I wish I would have had the Algebrator when I first started learning algebra. I purchased it for my college algebra class, and I love it. Thank you, Thank you!!
Tim Blumberg, CA

Absolutely genius! Thanks!

Good job! I feel this version is MUCH easier to use than the older version. What I have seen looks like a major step forward to users like me.

I am a 9th grade Math Teacher. I use the Algebrator application in my class room, to assist in the learning process. My students have found the easy step by step instructions, and the explanations on how the formula works to be a great help.

How do you find the LCD denominator?

To find the least common denominator, list out the multiples of both denominators until you find the smallest multiple that is shared by both. Because 28 is the first shared multiple of 4 and 7, it must be the least common denominator for these two fractions.

What is the LCD of 10 and 5?

In the given set of numbers 5 and 10, 10 is the least number that is divisible by both 5 and 10. Therefore the LCM or LCD also known as Least Common divisor for 5 and 10 is 10.
