Is Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach coming to the Nintendo Switch? Show Steel Wool Studios and the creator of the Five Nights at Freddy's series Scott Cawthon have announced the release date for the newest addition to the series, Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. The game will be available on Dec. 16 of this year. The game's trailer makes it obvious that FNAF:SB will be the most ambitious release in the series in terms of new and interesting game mechanics. There are new animatronics out to catch the player and new ways to avoid them as well. The new setting of FNAF:SB will likely be the biggest yet. Fazbear's Mega Pizza Plex is three stories tall and come with a new glam-rock color scheme that makes many of the animatronics look ready to take the main stage of a concert. Five Night at Freddy's: Security Breach will be available for the PlayStation 4 and 5, the Xbox One and Series X, and on Pc upon release. However, Steel Wool Studios does intend to roll the game out to other consoles in the months after the initial release. While there has been no official confirmation that this includes the Nintendo Switch, there is a good chance this is the console they are referring to given that the game will be available on all the other mainstream consoles immediately. Recently Steel Wool Studios posted the latest patch update on Twitter, and when I was reading through the comments, I saw people asking if/when FNAF Security Breach is coming to the Nintendo Switch, and I couldn't help but laugh. XD I hate to break it to you, but FNAF Security Breach isn't coming to the Switch anytime soon... We all know how the game runs on PC and PS5, so I highly doubt the Switch would be able to handle it. I think it's safe to say it ain't happening... However, for those of you who are Switch-owners and desperately craving that FNAF SB experience on the go, I know the perfect alternative game on the Switch that will provide you that same experience! In fact, I'd consider this game to be arguably even better than FNAF Security Breach in almost every way! (IMO at least) Trust me, it's not like one of those common jokes/scenarios that goes along the lines of... You: "Mom can we have FNAF SB on the Switch?" Mom: "We have FNAF SB on the Switch at home." It's more like... Mom: "I know this isn't what you asked for, but-" You: "OMG IT'S EVEN BETTER THAN WHAT I ASKED FOR! THANK YOU SO MUCH MOM I LOVE YOU!" You get the idea here right?... Now which game am I referring to you may ask?... Well, not sure if you've heard of it or not, but say hello to Happy's Humble Burger Farm!  It's also scarier than FNAF SB as well, if that's what you're looking for? But I'm specifically emphasizing the Switch version here, because once again it's the perfect alternative for Switch-owners craving that FNAF SB experience or who want to play a game that's very similar to FNAF SB in handheld on the go! Not to mention it's also a much cheaper alternative as well, literally only half the price of FNAF SB! Trust me, it's worth it. Long story short, I highly recommend Happy's Humble Burger Farm, especially to Switch-owners and FNAF SB fans alike!

As of this writing, there has been no official announcement of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach coming to either Xbox or Nintendo Switch. It was released exclusively on consoles for PlayStation and also came to PC in December 2021, with no word on future releases. That being said, we would be very surprised if Security Breach never released on Switch or Xbox. What often happens in cases like this is that PlayStation will make a deal with a game to exclusively release on their platform for about a year, and then later the title will go to other consoles after that deal expires. Other recent examples of this happening with indie titles were the release of Bugsnax and Fall Guys. Both were announced as coming to Switch and Xbox after extended stays on PlayStation. Additionally, all past Five Nights at Freddy’s games have come to those platforms as well, so there is plenty of history for that to happen again here. Speaking speculatively, we would guess that Security Breach would come to the other consoles near the end of 2022 at the earliest. That being said, it very easily could have fans waiting until 2023 or potentially 2024.
