Hampton Inn is my favorite chain of hotels, but this location was not that good, the moment i entered in hotel room, i was getting muggy smell and even after telling front desk staff they didn’t do anything.

The room I stayed in sloped to a ridiculous extent in various directions. I'm not sure if that amount would even be legal. Every day there was no hot water in the evening. The breakfast selection was rather sorry. However, the location is quite convenient and probably reasonably priced for the area.

Great location, close to Time Square and Theaters. Wonderful staff, so helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was overcrowded. It was uncomfortable. Would have been nice to have a grab and go area. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were very flat.

Pros:In the heart of B’way.

Pros:The cleanliness of the hotel, the buffet type breakfast, the courtesy of the staff, its proximity from time square, its comfort.

Cons:As we were going to breakfast, we put the do not disturb sign on the door. The cleanjng lady saw it and asked us if we did not want our room cleaned. We answered yes but not now. A little bit later as we are going down for breakfast and coming up. She said ok I understand. When we left the hotel for the day, we took off the sign but when we returned, the roon was not made at all.

Pros:Enjoyed the area-close to subway, restaurant and a Times Square.

Cons:Some furniture needs replacing-old and wore out. Bed was comfy though and room was large.

Pros:They kept my bags until check in time and the next day they kept them until we were ready to leave the city. Staff was friendly!

Pros:Great choice for us near theaters, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and Subways. The room was comfortable, including the bed. The breakfast was good, including eggs that were changed up every day to offer variety. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was affordable offering an excellent value. We also enjoyed some of the restaurants nearby. The Broadway shows we went to were easy walking distance (from a half block to five minutes away). We would come back here again.

Cons:The bathrooms are a little small and the hotel hallways need some updating.

Pros:Everything was great! We stayed at the Roosevelt down the road a few days before and surprisingly with the way that the Roosevelt tries to advertise itself, The Hampton Inn was much better in quality.

Pros:The location was perfect for us. We needed to catch an early plane the next day and we were able to get there within 20 minutes.

Cons:The rooms were clean as well as to be expected for a NYC hotel. They weren't anything spectacular. The real issue I had was the staff at the front desk. They had an attitude when checking us in and when we first walked up, we had to wait for the ladies to finish their conversation before anyone would assist us. The conversation wasn't even work related. If you want a place to stay for a night or two then it's okay.

When going by public transport, take the Q70-SBS to Roosevelt Avenue/74 Street and change to the E line going to the World Trade Center. Exit at 50 Street Subway Station and walk for about 2m to reach the hotel.
