What I received was a blister pack of five 1/2 inch hangers, ProSource model 5398532 Hardwall Hangers. The packaging states "Holds up to 15 lbs (6 kgs)". They are a bit smaller that I'd expected, but as the measurements aren't stated in the listing that's on me. I measure the hangers as about 1-3/16" from top to bottom, the round part at the top has a 9/16" diameter, the hook sticks out about 3/16" from the wall, the hanging gap is about 1/8", and the headless nails will drive in about 1/4". See the photo.I've now installed two into a cinder block wall and the installation was extremely quick and easy. I used needle-nosed pliers to hold each hanger by the hook as I hammered them in with a typical 7 oz claw hammer. The hangers seem very solid and I was able to hang my wall clock and framed picture with confidence.I'm very pleased with this purchase from Rocky Mountain Farms.

I wasn't able to hammer them in, but it wasn't a problem for my husband.

These are amazing. I hung the picture, temp gauge, and window art on this concrete wall on my lanai. Total project time (including measuring) 15 min. I’m a 66 yo woman and they went in easily for me. WHY IT MAY NOT HAVE WORKED FOR YOU @Chris McDowell - you said you tried to used these on an interior cinder block wall .... is there a layer of drywall and perhaps a small space ( 3/4-1” ) between drywall and cinder block due to a furring strip? If so, that may be why these didn’t work for you. The nails in this hanger are so tiny that they can not penetrate thru drywall, space/furring strip in order to bite into the cinder block. A POSSIBLE SOLUTION ..consider all the thicknesses and wether your furring strip is metal or wood. Furring strip/space 3/4”, drywall probably 1/2” plus 1/4” if you hit the sides or ends of the cinder block. With some trial and error, you’ll figure out all your thicknesses. If it’s a small picture and you hit the furring strip, you may be able to use regular picture hangers that nail in with a string downward slant. Fir something heavy - I’d use a toggle type faster (need to drill hole) - being aware of all thicknesses and where the toggle opens. Making sure it opens in a hollow of the cinder block, will help to ensure a snug hold. I’ve been in real estate and rehabs for 28 years. That’s where I’ve learned a lot of my construction information. Chris, I hope this works for you, and I hope this may help others. This product is amazing when used as it was designed for.

I always had a hard time drilling anything into brick but these worked great. I used them to hold a few outdoor signs for my front and back patio. Wish they would come in brown to better match most brick but instead, I just painted them myself so they would blend in the areas they were exposed. Nice product !

The hook is small so it won't handle the big item. I tried to hammer in my stucco wall. The nail went in but then fell off because the nail stick to the wall is short to hold it. I returned the item.

These were the only things that drilled into my patio (concrete) wall. They were super easy to install (with a hammer) and hold many different wall décor.

This product was so simple to use and worked perfect for what I needed. I purchased because I wanted to hang pictures on a brick wall. Tried all other options and nothing worked. Was skeptical about buying these but so glad I did!!! Just a few hits of the hammer and these were in the brick! Highly recommend!

The lighting for my pics are terrible but these hooks are a godsend, love them!!! I’ve been wanting to hang some art since we finished building our pool but I didn’t want to drill into our freshly painted columns. One thing I want anyone who orders these to know is you don’t have to bang hard to tap these into place, I noticed that’s what a lot of reviewer’s were saying and they broke most of their hooks doing so. It only takes a light tap with a hammer and minimum pressure for it to go into walls. Try them you won’t be sorry! And also I noticed when I put a hook on the wall the wrong way it was very easy to take out and pull the nails through the plastic hook so it can be reused again with very minimal damage to the wall with tiny holes that are barely seen.

5.0 out of 5 stars OMG these work! Even on an uneven stone wall

Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on August 4, 2021

I was dubious, but carefully read the reviews and decided to try for myself. I have an old stone fireplace that was lovingly kept and is at the entry of my new home. I wanted to hang some valuable artwork at the front entry, but at a loss as to what I could use to hang the oversized piece. I was afraid to drill a hole in the event I ruined or caused crumbling to the stonework.

I simply set up one of these hangers and gently and patiently tapped the small pegs into the stone. I couldn’t be more pleased. I ordered a backup package for other applications around my home. Funny how small things can be so impressive.

I have been wanting to put up a few pictures over my fireplace. My husband did not want to drill holes in the brick or mortar. Thank god I found these. They are perfect. Thank you for the reviewers who said to not pound in the hooks but to tap them in lightly. My children's painting now hangs proudly over my mantle piece. So happy to have found these.
