This wikiHow teaches you how to open your Gmail inbox on a computer or mobile platform. If you want to be able to view multiple accounts at once, you can add accounts to your browser or mobile item after signing into one account. Keep in mind that you must have a Gmail account in order to access Gmail.

  1. 1

Open your web browser. If you want to open Gmail on a computer, you can do so from any web browser (e.g., Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.).

    • If you want to use Google-specific features of Gmail, such as offline mail, you'll need to open Gmail in Google Chrome.

  2. 2

Open Gmail. Go to //www.gmail.com/ in your web browser. This will open the Gmail login page.
