Are you looking for an easy way to download youtube videos and view inside your mobile gallery?
When I say download Youtube videos, I mean saving it to your memory card or internal storage forever.
YouTube allows you to download videos only on their app but doesn’t give you the option to download directly to your device.
In this post, I’ll show you two effective ways to permanently download YouTube videos directly into your device.

Download youtube videos without app
This method has a little process to it but gets the job done.
You copy the link of the video, paste it in your browser, make some adjustments to the link, choose your download quality, then you download.
Let’s break it into more detailed explanations:
1. Go to the Youtube video and copy the link
Choose the video you would like to download, click on the share icon/button, then press “copy link”.
If you are viewing youtube from your browser, skip to number 2 below.
2. Paste the link into your browser then edit
Paste the link into your browser then load the video.
Once it loads, go to the URL ( link ) tab, clear everything before the “youtube” text, and replace it with “ss” then load the newly edited link in the browser.
3. Choose your preferred download quality
Once you complete step number two, you will be redirected to a website with your video ready for download ( redirected to savefrom.net ).
Choose your preferred download quality then press download, and that is all.
Note: Some browsers like chrome might play the video in the browser instead of downloading. Click on the 3-dotted button and press download. It would start downloading right away.
Download youtube videos with an App
Unlike the above method, this one gets things done a little bit faster.
You only need to have their app (Savefrom Helper) installed, which will take you straight to the download page.
1. Download the savefrom.net app(Savefrom Helper) and allow access to file storage
Go to savefrom.net, scroll to the bottom of the page then click “App” or “Apk”
Better still, click the button below to download the app for your android device.
It would take you to the Download page.
If you clicked “App” :
If you clicked “Apk” :
After downloading, install the app.
Once installed open Savefrom Helper and allow access to phone media and file storage.
2. Go to the Youtube video you want to download and share to Savefrom Helper
Search for the video you want to download on YouTube(App or Website), then click share.
Scroll down and click on “Savefrom Helper”. It will automatically take you to the download page.
After you complete the above method it’ll take you directly to the download page inside the Savefrom Helper app.
Click on the download button, choose your download quality, and then click the “Download” button.
You can later access your downloaded videos from the “Downloads” or “Files” section.
Conclusion
The two methods use the same website to run the same task. But the second method is actually faster and less stressful.
