Log in to your MECU Anywhere Online Banking Account.
Select the “Bill Pay” tab.
Select the “Pay a Person” tab.
Choose to send money by email or text message.

Try it today! You can start using Pay a Person as soon as you enroll for Bill Pay. Log in to your MECU Anywhere account and select the “Bill Pay” tab.

Pay a Person FAQs

What is the Pay a Person feature? 

Pay a Person is a convenient and cost-effective way for you to send money to anyone. Your recipient can either choose to receive the money instantly in real-time or the next business day. This makes paying someone back, splitting the dinner bill, or just gifting someone a little cash much easier, saving you time and extra fees.

Does my contact have to be a Pay a Person user? 

No, they don’t have be a Pay a Person user. All they need is a phone number or email address and a share account or deposit account with any financial institution.

What is a Pay a Person real-time payment? 

A Pay a Person real-time payment is a delivery option that allows your contact to receive payment instantly to their debit card.  If the contact chooses real-time payment, they’ll be charged a $1.00 fee.  

What is a Pay a Person next-day payment? 

A Pay a Person next-day payment is a delivery option that allows your contact to receive payment the next business day, at no cost.  If your contact chooses next-day payments, they will be required to enter their bank routing and account numbers for the next-day option. 

Is there a fee to use the Pay a Person feature? 

You will not be charged a fee to use Pay a Person. However, if your contact chooses the real-time payment, they’ll be charged a $1.00 fee to claim the funds. If your contact chooses the next-day payment, they will not be charged.

Where is the debit card member number?

The entire 16-digit numeric sequence on the front of the card is the card number. Your account number is part of that number. As described above, this is the seventh digit to the second-to-last digit for both debit and credit cards.

How do I find my Numerica member number?

First, log in to either Online Banking or the Mobile App. Choose “Accounts,” and then select the specific account you want to view. Your full account number will be listed near your available balance.

How do you transfer money on MECU app?

Log in to your MECU Anywhere Online Banking Account. Select the “Bill Pay” tab. Select the “Pay a Person” tab. Choose to send money by email or text message.

How do I find my Suncoast member number?

If you need help finding your member number or SunNet password, you can contact the Members Contact Center at 1-800-999-5887 or request a password at any local service center (valid identification is required).
