How many tablespoons in a small box of instant pudding

I'm trying to figure the calories of Jello Chocolate/Vanilla SF/FF pudding, just the powder, not prepared....per tbsp....

Chocolate
Serving Size 1/6 pkg
Servings per container 6
Calories 35 (unprepared)

Vanilla
Serving Size 1/6 pkg
Servings per container 6
Caloires 25 (unprepared)

Is there an easy formula??? My math skills aren't that great.....Any help would be appreciated...

  I don't understand your question......... are you mixing both boxes together for one big batch of vanilla & chocolate combined??

  What we need to know is how much the final product is volume wise. Then, 16 T in a cup. So, talking unprepared, pour it in a measuring cup. If there is 1/2 cup of powder, that is 8 T. That means that there would be 1.3 T of powder per serving (the 8 T divided by 6 servings) then you know that there is 35 cals per 1 1/3 Tablespoons (which is the same as 1T +1t since there are 3 teaspoons in a Tablespoon).

  So, to break it down.

  Find out how many cups the powder is. Convert this to T (if you want go to Google and just type in the number of cups and "to tablespoons" and it will convert for you). Divide this number by 6. That will give you the serving size that has 35 cals.
  (If this number is in a fractioned Tablespoon (ie, 1.5 or 1.6) take that fraction, .5, .6.. and remember that there are 3t in a T. So .6 T is 2t... or, once again, you can take that decimal and go to google and type in ".6 Tablespoons to teaspoons" and it will convert it for you.)

  Same for the other but it will tell you what serving size is 25 cals.

  OK...so there are 6 -1/2 c servings in each package, and there are 16T in a cup.
  The math: 6 - 1/2 cup servings equal 35x6= 210 cals in a box
  I would divide the cals by the amount of Tablespoons in the box, which is 48
  making that (for chocolate) 4.4 cals per 1 T of chocolate pudding POWDER ONLY (not prepared).

  vanilla = 25x6=150 / 48 = 3.125 cals per 1 T

  The math: 6 - 1/2 cup servings equal 35x6= 210 cals in a box
  I would divide the cals by the amount of teaspoons in the box, which is 144
  making that (for chocolate) making that 1.5 cals per tsp of chocolate pudding POWDER ONLY (not prepared).

  well, that is likely prepared servings of 1/2c. We need to know how many cups there are of just powder and then the math is right for t's and x3 that # to get to T's.

  Ah then yes - though your formula is for teaspoons, easily switched to Tablespoons by timsing the final # by 3.

  My husbands final answer.....

  Vanilla is 21.4 cal/tbsp
  Chocolate is 23.3 cal/tbsp

  So, now I have no clue who was right, wrong or close, or even if my DH is right, lolol I think I'll just round them UP to be on the safe side....
  Thanks for the help....wonder if this could be used as a word problem in Math for the middle schoolers?????

  I did this another way, I just took a Tablespoon measure, and kept measuring out tablespoons until the little box of powder was empty. For Vanilla, I came up with 6 Tablespoons, so you're about as close as I was, off by 1. I didn't try the chocolate flavor.

  Yea, my DH just counted out the tblsp in each box.....
