Your new driver license or ID card will be mailed to you in two to three weeks. If you renewed, replaced or changed the address for a driver license, you need to print your temporary driver license (valid for 60 days) from the receipt page. You may also choose to receive the temporary driver license or ID by email, but you must print it in order for it to be a valid document. If you are eligible and you choose to renew, replace, or change the address of your driver license or ID card, you will be able to view and change your emergency contacts at the end of the transaction. You will have the ability to change contact information such as name, phone numbers, and address, and add or delete contacts. When adding or changing a contact, the following fields are required:

If your driver license is still valid, you may continue to use it for non-federal purposes, such as operating a motor vehicle, voting, or banking.
