Just wanted a quick spot check of what people are paying for oil changes at dealerships. I got quoted between $450 and $600 at the few I asked the prices for; seems pricey since it's not as complicated to do as a 911.

Buy a couple of ramps, a large oil catch pan, 36mm & 13mm sockets and do it yourself. If you have a small, cordless impact gun get the T20 torx adapter, it makes removing all the screws on the belly pan a lot easier. 1st time... an hour, 2nd time... 30 minutes.

I need to get some recalls done, and some warranty work - so thought it would make sense to just have the oil change done at the same time, but $500+ seems like a pricey premium to pay for the convenience.

I've just had local indy do it for $150. Why the hell would anyone pay for a $600 oil change......

Wow that’s a lot, my local Porsche dealer quoted me 300 which I thought was a bit high but apparently not.

The 911 is easy compared to a V8 Panamera. Panny has 20 plus screws to remove the belly cover then 6 bolts to remove the shear plate to get access to the filter. Of course this trivial if you have a lift. $300 to change oil in a 991.1 is crazy but I pay the same for the Panamera.

Just completed an oil change through an indie shop for $140. Filter (from Suncoast) for $30, oil $60, and labor $50.
