The OEM compatible replacement refrigerator filter part number is LG LT120F.

No tools are needed to access and replace the fresh air filter.

Grasp Filter Housing

Twist Counterclockwise

Rear of Filter Housing The first two steps are to open your refrigerator door and then clear away any breakable glass jars or ceramic dishes from in front of the fresh air filter housing.

Firmly grasp the air filter housing and gently rotate it 1/4 turn counterclockwise to unlock it from the mounting bracket.

Pull the filter housing off the mounting bracket.

Gently Pull Out Old Filter

Check Filter For Debris Turn over the filter housing to access the old air filter.

Gently pull the old air filter out of the housing.

Check both sides of the old filter for soiling or debris.

If you are brave enough, sniff the filter to see if it smells fresh or more like the salmon and onions you've had in there during the last few months.

Empty Filter Bracket

Pop In New Filter

Line Up Housing & Mount Line up the new LG LT120F air filter with the "+" shaped plastic bars facing up towards you and the plain grey face of the filter facing down in to the housing.

Gently snap the new filter in to the housing.

Line up the filter housing with the mounting bracket on the rear wall of the refrigerator.

Hold the filter housing at a slight angle to the left.

1/4 Turn Clockwise - Lock

New Filter Installed

Model Specification Sticker Push the filter housing on to the mounting bracket and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in place.

Double check that the filter housing is securely attached to the mounting bracket.
