How to reset oil life on 2003 cadillac escalade

Simple tutorial on how to reset the change engine oil soon service maintenance reminder message on Cadillac Escalade from the year 2015-2016-2017-2018-2019-2020.

STEP 1

• Close all doors, gear to park position.

STEP 2

• Start the engine.

STEP 3

• Press the LEFT <  button to select the LEFT SIDE MENU, then scroll down to the REMAINING OIL LIFE.
  

STEP 4

• While the REMAINING OIL LIFE is displayed. Press and hold the SEL BUTTON until the OIL LIFE is reset to 100%.
  

STEP 5

• Turn off the ignition. the Oil reset is complete.

About Cadillac Escalade

The Cadillac Escalade is a full-size luxury SUV engineered and manufactured by General Motors. It was Cadillac’s first major entry into the SUV market. 2002-2006

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
If the CHANGE OIL SOON indicator flashes, the system is reset (if this does not happen, repeat steps).
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2007-2010

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Display the OIL LIFE REMAINING on the DIC.
Press and hold the SET/RESET button on the DIC for more than 5 seconds. The oil life will change to 100%.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
