- Moving digital games from one Switch to another
spacecowboymike 3 years ago#1 Is it easy to do? My thought process: I want a Switch now but may trade (upgrade) if one day Nintendo makes a newer or more powerful version. So if that happens how difficult would it be to move my digital games? |

SSJ4CHRIS 3 years ago#4 Nintendo has a transfer from Switch to Switch. Don't tell people what it "should be" if you don't actually know what it is. The Internet allows us to make more mistakes faster than any
invention in history. With the possible exceptions of Handguns and Tequila! |

RennanNT 3 years ago#7 Like the other consoles, you can sign in and play your games in other consoles. But like them as well, only the primary console can play your digital games completely offline and using any profile, not just yours. So I recommend to go to the eShop settings and deactivate the console as your primary. It's probably done when you factory reset and you can do this on the web (once a year), but better be safe. Next time you open the eShop on a Switch, that Switch will become your account's primary console. Damn, that feeling when your own first reply in your own topic blatantly gushes the agenda you're trying to push all over the place. What a sight to witness, true art. Some games do not support cloud saving (Pokemon, Splatoon, Dark Souls). In these cases, you will have to transfer the saves locally which requires access to both systems.
