  1. How to use google play balance as family payment method

Hi, I think it's related with me setting up a family link on our accounts. It's really getting things complicated.
My son can't buy stuff from Google play, I can only choose a gift card.
When I search on this, I'm told that I need to a add a family credit card, I can find anywhere to put that in. I did try to allow him everything, but that don't help.
Maybe it's related maybe it's not, but it's the only thing I can think of.
    Thanks.

  2. How to use google play balance as family payment method

You're right, it's due to Family Link (and presumably your son is under 13).

Open the Play Store app, tap your profile pic at the upper right, then Payments & Subscriptions>Payment Methods. Scroll down to Change Family Payment Method, and select one of your credit cards. Now see if it works.

  3. How to use google play balance as family payment method

Hi B. Diddy, thank you for your answer. That was also my thought, but I don't have Family Payment Method available in Payment Methods. I can choose my to credit cards, add a new card, add PayPal, then I have square with 3 dots in: redeem code (don't know if that translation is correct)
The last thing on the list is more payment settings. If I choose the last one, it opens Chrome and then I can edit my credit cards or add a new one. I'm missing the family settings.
    Thanks
