Jeep jl 2.0 muffler delete

I am extremely happy with this muffler delete for my Jeep Wrangler. Take that 20 something pound behemoth muffler off and install this tail pipe in its place. Installation was fairly easy. This is what I did. Prop up the muffler with a milk crate and some wood so it doesn't fall on you. Undo the existing exhaust pipe clamp just behind the rear axle. Use a piece of wood to pry the exhaust pipe apart where the clamp was. Remove the two bolts that hold the exhaust pipe hangers, one on each side of the existing muffler. Slide the existing muffler straight out the back. Put the exhaust pipe hanger back on the drivers side. Do not install the exhaust pipe hanger on the passenger side since it is no longer needed. Take the new muffler delete pipe and push onto the end of existing exhaust pipe. Use the exhaust pipe hanger you just installed to support the rear of the new exhaust pipe. Tighten the clamp between the two sections of exhaust pipe. Enjoy the increased sound and performance!!

I installed this on my 2019 Jeep JL Rubicon with the 2L turbo motor. Install is easy,and I'm so happy to be rid of that big muffler with all the flow restrictions in the feed pipe. Sound isn't too bad, either. When warming up the Jeep at high idle it is about as loud as you'll hear it. Once it idles down, noise level is very acceptable to me. Only time I really notice the exhaust note is when I really get on it, and for me, it's nice to hear the reminder I have an engine under the hood.

Was hesitant to install on my 2.0T JLU Sport. Pleasantly surprised by the sound. It’s no V8, but definitely not obnoxious either. Doesn’t sound that much different from stock, which on a 4 Cylinder is a good thing! Install took less than 30 minutes.

I installed this "stainless" muffler deletion pipe and noticed 2days later that it had a lot of rust starting for only 2days old and being stainless. Attached a standard fridge magnet to it and realized it's not stainless at all. The label on it says made in USA so that rules out crap metal, or does Dynomax use cheap crap foreign stainless and pass it off as US quality. Buyer beware the pipe works and sounds good but product will rust out and fall off in no time

I was very pleased with this Dynomax muffler delete exaust pipe ,
The pipe was very easy to install ….. l did not even have to jack the jeep up at all …. stock jeep height NO LIFT .
the whole install was so very easy by laying on my paved driveway,
The fit was a perfect 10 +++ everything went together perfect and was a very simple install.
l was pleased to get rid of the stock heavy muffler.
The sound is ok too not too loud …. a pleasant sound for a v6 .
purchase this quality made in the USA pipe …. l know you will be Just as pleased as l was.

Probably the best all-around modification we have done to our 2019 jeep Rubicon engine runs better and sounds amazing don’t waste your money on full exhaust systems this sounds perfect and was super easy to install
