Lord I Must Of Been A Fool Back Then Lyrics

I brought flowers to your door last night
I done you wrong and I want to make it right
You say I’m not welcome here
I know it oughta be perfectly clear
But I can’t help but wonder what it might be like

Two Dozen Roses by Shenandoah

I brought flowers to your door last ni-ight.

I done you wrong and I wanna make it ri-ight.

You say I'm not welcome here,

I know it oughta be perfectly clear.

But I can't help but wonder what it might be like.....

(Chorus)

If I had two dozen roses,

And an older bottle of wine.

If I really coulda hung the moon,

Would you change your mind?

If I could cry a little harder.

And get a little less sleep at night.

If I had two dozen roses,

Would it change your mind?

Oh I musta been a fool back then.

To lose somethin' that you can't have again.

I've done all that I know to do.

and second guess my every move.

But I can't help but wonder how it might have been--

(Chorus)

If I had two dozen roses,

And an older bottle of wine.

If I really coulda hung the moon,

Would you change your mind?

If I could cry a little harder.

And get a little less sleep at night.

If I had two dozen roses,

Would it change your mind?

If I could cry a little harder,

And get a little less sleep at night.

If I had two dozen roses would it change your mind?

Baby, would you change your mind?

Oh, baby would you change your mind..?

Shenandoah Lyrics

"Two Dozen Roses"

I brought flowers to your door last night.
I done you wrong and I wanna make it right.
You say I'm not welcome here,
I know it oughta be perfectly clear.
But I can't help but wonder what it might be like...

But I can't help but wonder how it might have been...

Shenandoah

Shenandoah is an American country music group founded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama in 1984 by Marty Raybon (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Ralph Ezell (bass guitar, backing vocals), Stan Thorn (keyboards, backing vocals), Jim Seales (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Mike McGuire (drums, background vocals). Thorn and Ezell left the band in the mid-1990s, with Rocky Thacker taking over on bass guitar; Keyboardist Stan Munsey joined the line up in 1995. The band split up in 1997 after Raybon left. Seals, Munsey and McGuire reformed the band in 2000 with lead singer Brent Lamb, who was in turn replaced by Curtis Wright and then by Jimmy Yeary. Ezell rejoined in the early 2000s, and after his 2007 death, he was replaced by Mike Folsom. more »
