  • Incredible Hoard Of Classic Mopars Discovered In Barns And Sitting In Fields

YouTube channel Auto Archaeology explores a property with many old Mopar vehicles scattered around in Arkansas.

Mopar Hoard Via: Auto Archaeology

YouTube Channel Auto Archaeology has released a video that explores a large hoarded collection of Mopar vehicles in Arkansas. Most of the Dodge and Plymouth vehicles range from the early '60s to the late '70s and are in a wide range of condition. Most of the cars on the property were true barn finds that hadn't seen the road in decades while others were sitting outside in fields or lean-to structures and in these cases, nature had definitely run its course. Overall, there were more than a dozen vehicles on the property, and Auto Archaeology confirmed that all but four of the cars will find new homes.

Exploring An Arkansas Mopar Hoard

The video opens with the camera slowly approaching the direction of a '69 Roadrunner convertible. Throughout the property, there are many parts scattered around, some of which are part of still intact vehicles while others are simply available for other cars that may be in need of spare parts. A simple glance around shows the remains of many cars that have fallen victim to the passage of time. Parked deep within some overgrown foliage, a '72 Challenger 318 sits parked and appears to have been there for some time. Shortly after, Auto Archaeology heads into a bar and finds a large supply of a variety of parts.

Back outside, the owner draws attention to a '69 Coronet R/T Convertible that he purchased for a “bargain” that he has all the parts for, even though the car is not currently fully put together or drivable. Also parked outside sits a well optioned Dodge Challenger that hasn't been on the road since at least 1972 and has “seen better days.” For some cars on the property, trees have begun to grow through the open areas, fully illustrating the amount of time that the cars have sat in one place.

A New Home Awaits These Vehicles

Mopar Hoard In Arkansas Via: Auto Archaeology

The channel finds a 1979 D100 stepside pickup that they initially thought was a Warlock but learned later that it was not; the truck, along with several others, slated for rescue soon. Additional vehicles found on the property include a 318 Dodge Challenger convertible and a 1970 Plymouth Satellite convertible found in a lean-to structure. Among the many parts on the property include the remains of a Dodge Lil' Red Express pickup truck. This particular video was the third video out of the four relating to this find. Everything but three cars in the video will be for sale later this spring. Should you see a car that would be of interest, information on how to contact the buyers of the cars are in the description of the YouTube video.
