Morgan wallen scared to live without you lyrics

Morgan Wallen has so many unreleased songs that fans hope he eventually shares on a forthcoming project.

Fans are begging Wallen to share several unreleased tracks that the East Tennessee native has teased over the last few years on social media and beyond.

It’s unclear if Wallen is working on the follow-up to his record-breaking sophomore project, Dangerous: The Double Album. However, the country superstar has been seen several times in the studio with his good friends and longtime collaborators Ernest & Hardy. In fact, recently he performed a new song called “Flower Shops” that is expected to be released as an ERNEST and Morgan Wallen duet.

In honor of Wallen officially returning to radio and the road, We compiled a list of 8 unreleased tracks that fans hope the “Sand In My Boots” singer releases in the near future.

“Don’t Think Jesus”

“A boy gets a guitar and starts writing songs / about whiskey and women and getting too stoned / he got all three at the first show he played / hometown says I don’t think Jesus done it that way / Boy moves to city lives fast and goes hard / starts chasing the devil through honky-tonk bars / ignoring the voices in his head that say / I don’t think Jesus done it this way / If I was him I’d say to hell with you / ain’t no helping you / find someone else to give Heaven to I’m telling you / I’d shame me, I blame me / I’d make me pay for my mistakes / oh, but I don’t think Jesus does it that way / boys all alone got no one to turn to / it figures he’ll pray cause what else could he do / he said I wish you would’ve woke me up an easier way / but I don’t think Jesus does it that way / if I was him I’d say to hell with you / ain’t no helping you / find someone else to give Heaven to I’m telling you / I’d shame me, I blame me / I’d make me pay for my mistakes / oh, but I don’t think Jesus does it that way…”

As the song came to a close, you could hear the raw emotion and pain within Wallen’s voice as he sang, “The world likes to rear back and throw a few stones / so boy wants to throw a few stones of his own / Lord knows I ain’t perfect, and it ain’t my place / Oh, and I don’t think Jesus done it that way / are y’all sure that Jesus done it that way?”

“Broadway Girls”

“I met her down at Aldean’s / she said she that saw me walking in about a mile away / bouncers had to take her phone and that just took her smile away / she said I’m too drunk and crazy she don’t like the way I dance / I said you don’t have to join in / she said she’d take a chance / I’ve been kind of crazy since it went down / I get kind lost and this is what I found / girls like you just want to take me around, around and around / there’s two things that you’re going to find out / they don’t love you, and they only love you right now / if I was smarter I would’ve stayed my ass at home and leave them Broadway girls alone / Broadway girls alone / Broadway girls alone…”

“You Proof”

“Ain’t nobody sellin’ nothing you proof / something stronger than I’m used to / I’ve been pouring 90-100 feelin’ like nothings gonna cut it that’s the hard truth / I need something you proof / I need something you proof,” Wallen sings in the chorus of the unreleased demo. “I’ve been mixing liquors trying get you gone / but I guess I must be doing something wrong / ’cause I’ve been workin’ hard to fade your memory / but the only thing faded is me / I need something you proof / something stronger than I’m used to / I’ve been pouring 90-100 feelin’ like nothings gonna cut it that’s the hard truth.”

“Thought You Should Know”

“I thought you should know that all those prayers you thought you wasted on me / Must’ve finally made their way on through / I thought you should know I got me a new girl down in Jefferson City, and she lets me fish whenever I want to / Yeah, I’m still proud of where I came from / Still you’re only damn son / Can you believe I’m on the radio? / Just thought you should know, Thought you should know, Thought you should know,” Wallen sings during “Thought You Should Know.”

“Drink U Back”

“Don’t know what it is about today that made me think the way I am / maybe it’s the way these Alabama pines swing / it reminds me of how you dance,” Wallen sings in the clip. “Now I’m pulling out your pictures while I’m pulling on a fifth / why the hell I race to forget you / got me remembering / where’d you go now baby / No, you can’t be that far / cause all that I been feeling lately / is you creeping back on my heart / thought I put enough miles down to get you going by now / but now I hear you saying no so fast / thought I’d finally drink you gone / so I’d try to drink u back / tried to drink u back”

“Untitled”

“Burn a few down on the back porch / a lot of shift gears in my dashboard / can’t get it on my own, won’t ask for it / make it happen with my own two hands / yeah, I like my boots a little swampy / yeah, I like my bass a little funky / yeah, I like my girls a little country / yeah it’s just the way I am / I ain’t ashamed of how I was raised / and I don’t see no need to change / you can take the boy out of the country / take the beer out of his hand / you can spend all kind of money / to sophisticated man / you can take him out his blue jeans / throw away his camo hat / but you know you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, it’s just as simple as that / you can take the boy out of the country / you can take the boy out of the country / you can take the boy out of the country but that country’s still in your boy / still in your boy,” Wallen sings in the song.

“Goin Down”

“‘Cause I can feel your arms around me / I can see that look in your eyes / Don’t stop turn it up cause he ain’t around / Don’t stop turn it up cause it’s goin down,” Wallen sings in the song’s chorus.

“Scared To Live Without You”

“Lie awake in the middle of the night / trying to figure out what to do / and I know now that I need you in my life / just like you always knew / I was a fool and I cut you like a knife so I got no right to judge ya / all I know is I’m more scared to live without you / than I am to love you,” Wallen sings.
