But first, can we talk about how the myVEGAS game literally took the comp awards offline for more than a month right before the holidays? I wanted to redeem my loyalty points for a comp night award back in November for December but then they totally took the comp night rewards off the game. Luckily, my friend had other comps that we got to use at another hotel, but overall I thought it wasn’t great customer service to just get rid of them like that, especially before the holidays. I guess this is a lesson to just purchase the reward and have them in your account instead of waiting until the last minute.
myVEGAS Rewards Calendar NotesUnderstanding the myVEGAS reward calendars below:
One-Night Comps vs. Two-Night Comps CalendarsBelow are the rewards calendars just for mostly the one-night comps. Usually, to get the two-night comp rewards, you have to spend real money on the game. On top of that, depending on how much you spend will unlock certain hotels. If you’re interested in this, you can read more about it here. For these set of calendars though, I was actually offered two-night comps at Park MGM and I’ve never spent a cent on the game. I’ve screenshot those calendars below as well in case anyone has the same offers. Cash Back with RakutenIf you are planning on spending money on an extra night with your comp night, make sure you sign up for Rakuten before you book. If you haven’t heard of Rakuten, I wholeheartedly recommend you sign up. It’s an online coupon tool that helps you get cash back on almost anything you buy. I have been a big fan of this for years (even when it used to be called Ebates) and I encourage you to sign up since it’s totally free. You literally get paid back real money every couple of months or so. I used to have a check mailed to me but now I’ve opted to have my cashback be paid back via PayPal which makes it even more convenient. Right now, Rakuten is offering 2.5% cash back on select MGM properties. Also, if you sign up through my referral link, it helps keep this blog running! Top Product RecommendationsSince I go to Vegas all the time, there’s always a set list of things I always bring to make my trip more enjoyable.
