Make your next family game night that much more fun by hosting your own at-home version of Family Feud, based on the iconic gameshow! Even though it's played on our televisions for generations, these Family Feud questions and answers for 2021 game nights will get everyone smiling and having a good time. What Is Family Feud & How Does It Work?Family Feud usually consists of two families or teams who compete with each other to correctly guess the most popular responses to Family Feud survey questions in order to win! For every answer a team guesses correctly, that team receives a certain number of points that corresponds to the number of surveyed people who gave that answer. So if 36 people said a cat was their favorite pet, and your team guessed “cat,” you would get 36 points. The first team to reach 300 points, wins! How to Have a Family Feud Game Night at HomeIn terms of set-up, lots of families prefer to turn their chairs or couches so they are facing the other team. Next, choose a host and have them sit at the front with a scorecard and the Family Feud questions. You’ll need to have the same number of people on your team, so if your family is odd-numbered choose a parent to dole out the questions! And one more thing: Make sure you find something to use as a buzzer before you start your game! They can be from a free app or even a squeaky dog toy. Here are the Family Feud game night rules:Have each team select a Team Captain. Then ask each Team Captain to come to the front of the room, each bringing a buzzer with them. After that, the host reads off the first question. Next, the Team Captains face-off by trying to beat each other to hitting their buzzer and answering the question first. The Team Captain who hits the buzzer first has five seconds to give an answer that is listed on the Family Feud questions and answers sheet. If the first Team Captain fails to give a correct answer, the other Team Captain gets a chance to guess. The team whose Captain gives a correct answer first gets the chance to play this round of the game. If they don’t want to, they can pass the chance to play the round to the opposing team. The team who chooses to play this round gets a chance to guess the remaining top answers to the question. Each team member gets a chance to give an answer, one by one, until they’ve found all the answers or gotten three wrong answers (or strikes). The team gets three strikes during the round, and each incorrect answer given counts as one strike. When the team gives a correct answer, the host adds the correct number of points (Important note: the correct points for each answer are listed in parentheses next to the answer). When the team uses up their three strikes, the turn is passed to the second team. The second team gets one chance to give one of the top answers to the question. If they succeed, they will steal all of the other team’s points from that round and win the round. If the opposing team fails, the first team keeps their points for that round. At the end of the round, the host should add up each team’s points and write them on the scorecard. To begin the second round, a new member from each team must come up to the front of the room and prepare to answer the next question. Family Feud Fast Money Round and QuestionsAt the end of the game, there's a special Fast Money round where one family has the chance to answer five final questions for an additional 300 points. Think of it like a bonus round for the winning team, so it's up to you if you want to play this special round at the end of your Family Feud game night or if you want to skip it. If you do add it on, you can use any leftover Family Feud survey questions and answers for it—you don't need specific Fast Money questions in order to play. Now that you know all the rules and how to play, check out our Family Feud questions and answers below to host your own game night! 100 Family Feud Questions and Answers1. How does a snake swallow large prey?Locomotion inside-out: Swallowing in snakes
They can swallow food items much bigger than their own head and even bigger than their whole body. Snakes do this by expanding the jaws at the tip and at the articulation with the skull, and then by moving the jaws in small steps over the food item.
What happens when a snake eats something alive? While snakes can eat something that's still alive and might give that a try if their food item were small, they would likely try to constrict and suffocate an animal as big as a man before swallowing. During constriction the snake asphyxiates its prey by tightening its coils every time the meal breathes.
