  oogies revenge

  The nightmare before christmas oogie's revenge. Well lets see. This I think is a good game. I really like the plot of the game but, some of the moves are kinda confusing. Being a huge fan of the movie I love the grafic's they were right on. And the fact that they incorperated alot of the charcters from the movie was just awsome. But on to the game play. good game!! I think this is a great game for what it is. I think they could have done better with the camera angle but its still pretty good. Some of the button combos are hard to figure out at first but once you get the hang of it your good to go. This is a good starter game for younger kids. Things are pretty easy to follow. all in all it is a great game.

• Feel inside the Movie

  Despite owning a XBX360 and a PS3, I decided to buy this game for the Original XBOX because my kids love Tim Burton's movies, expecting the so-well-known fact that often times Games made after movies as marketing support tend to be less than average in most aspects... WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE!!! This game is so faithful to the movie that you get the feeling of being inside it! Yes some missions are a bit redundant, but the game dynamics and size of the mapping, along with the EXCELLENT character resemblance to those of the movie make it a fun and creepy gaming experience. *Awesome Graphics for a XBOX game *Good scenery *Cool sound quality

• Oogie is NOT BACKWARD COMPATIBLE for XBOX 360!

  WARNING: I CAN NOT FAIRLY RATE THIS GAME AS I HAVE NOT ACTUALLY PLAYED IT :( I LOVE the Nightmare before christmas and did as extensive research as I was able to, in order to find out whether this game would work on the system I currently have : Xbox 360 versus that for which the game was originally put out, the first generation Xbox. I spoke to several sellers of the game who assured me you could download the plugins from xbox and this game would work with the correct patches. So, I sought out the game, even found a used copy of the guide book :) Both in hand I was indescribably excited to play the game. Alas, as you may have guessed, I was left sorely disappointed because, even after downloading a lengthy seemingly promising xbox live update, the game would not play. In summary, to all those NMBC lovers/gamers out there, I suppose we're out of luck. Only after I got the game was I able to locate a comprehensive list of xbox games that are backwards compatible and NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS: Oogies Revenge, is not one of them and sadly, may never be.Read full review

• Fun Game!

  I have five prong component cables for my original Xbox and I find the picture to be pretty decent for an old game on a 4k TV. A good hack-and-slash style game, highly recommend this!

• excellent game

  If you like 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' and RPG games then you'll love this wonderful adventure. I have a friend who likes to watch me play because, he says, it's like watching a movie. This game is basically like a sequal to the movie with an interesting story line, movie-like clips, and adventureous gameplay. There isn't much more I can realy say without spoiling the story, so you'll just have to try it out for yourself. I definately recomend this game to people of all ages and I guarantee you won't regret this purchase.
