No I know that I have the oil filter n Mobil 1 full synthetic ready. I'm in the same predicament you are in. About the plastic cover removal. Looks like it might need to be. Easier if on front jack stands. Remove the three rear pegs and kinda moved the front part out of the way.

I took two push tabs and a bolt out of the rear and cannot find where it detaches from the front of the car.

I’m glad they went to a spin on, the housing on the top filters are plastic, and the filters are more and don’t have all that steel.
I’ll walk back and look what the guy takes off when I get my free oil change at the Dealer. I’ll post pics.

A Chrysler engineer at a cars and coffee up on Woodward, told me they went to the top filters because in Europe, people pull up in a field and drop the oil and filter. That doesn’t really make any sense, you can still change your oil in a field.

Let me know what you find out please if you can. I'd rather do my own oil changes if possible so I know it's done right.

Will do, my sales guys pretty cool. He comes to my cars and coffee at my place every year, I’m going to have him take me in the service bay and i want to see the Pan. I have a Q45 that has 11 bolts you have to remove to get the splash pan out the way. It can’t be that bad. I did pick up a filter cap wrench, you can see it sitting on top of the oil filter. I
wonder if you grease the front end too, I’ll check into that also
