Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser Cream is an anti-ageing moisturiser formulated with a bio-available retinoid complex and vitamin B3. The moisturiser works to visibly improve fine lines and wrinkles, reduce the appearance of pores and dark spots, smooth, brighten, firm, and hydrate skin for 24 hours. The moisturiser is formulated without additional fillers, dyes, phthalates, sulphates or fragrances to minimise the risk of irritation.

Not great for me but beautiful to apply

I got the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser Cream (and the Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Eye Cream) as part of the BH trial. I was so excited to be chosen, as had read amazing reviews about the Retinol Night Moisturiser. I used it every second night as suggested to avoid irritation. The pot is classy, and the cream felt beautiful. Applying it was just lovely; it was so velvety and easy to spread over my face - it sunk in quite quickly, and left no sticky feeling when I went to bed. After the second application, I noticed dry patches starting on my face, so I persevered every second night, hoping to get used to the cream. After each subsequent application, I got more dry patches, and then my skin started stinging. I wear SPF 50 during the day anyway, and that is advised, as retinol can make skin sensitive to the sun. I don’t usually have any skin sensitivities - I can use any product - but the dry patches and the stinging I experienced while using it for over 3 weeks, and the fact I saw no improvement in my lines or skin texture, means I wouldn’t use it again. I stopped once the trial period was finished. I did really enjoy applying it though, and am really pleased I was chosen to trial it, and I know for many people it works extremely well.

Leaves skin soft and hydrated

Overall a good night moisturiser - a fairly small amount each night soaked into my skin easily and my skin was soft and felt hydrated in the morning. Don't think it has made much of a difference to my fine lines and wrinkles, but will wait and see.

Best Retinol in Australia

I've heard so much about this range, so i took the plunge and bought the full set on Chemist Warehouse. I was really worried about having a bad reaction as I have used other Retinols before, but this was MAGIC! Firstly, the texture is so lovely, it's kind of like a gel-like cream that instantly melts into your skin. I've used it for the past 2 weeks, around 4-5 times a week and did not have ANY irritation which is rare! My skin feels a lot more plump, and I have found it increases absorption of other skincare products. My pigmentation has also lighten which was great as I am really conscious of my freckles. Would highly recommend to everyone!!! This is a game changer!!

Hydrating night cream!

Didn’t like the night moisturiser cream in the beginning as it left flakey particles on my face. It has a very nourishing, light texture and easily absorbed. Didn’t need to use much on my face. Would still recommend because of how hydrating the cream is.

Olay night cream

This is a great moisturiser it really hydrated my skin and firmed. I used it along with the eye cream and serum and after using I really noticed a huge difference in the way my skin looked. It was gentle on my skin and caused no irritation, I will definitely be repurchasing this product again once’s it runs out.

Lightweight

I love that this is fragrance free. It is also easily absorbed, like the eye cream. However, i didn't find it very hydrating (possibly didn't help that heater was always on and we are stuck home in iso). It hasn't minimised the appearance of my pores which are my main concern

Worked well, just not on its own

The Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser Cream unfortunately missed the mark a bit for me, as a one stop product. I used this as directed and it just did not want to sink into my skin and the product rolled / bunched up and flaked off. The cream felt nice going on and had a velvety feel almost like a silicone primer however it sat on top of my skin so did little to hydrate it. That being said, I did experiment a little with this product and if applied over a serum, it actually worked nicely and I didn’t come off. For me it did not work as designed (to be used on it’s own) but it might be a good option for people who have a multi step skincare routine as it paired beautifully with the serum. This product did not irritate my dry, sensitive skin at all and doesn’t have much of a fragrance in my opinion. I will continue to use in conjunction with a serum and I may even repurchase.

Gentle and fragrance free moisturiser night cream

I'm at a age where I need help for my aging skin this Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser Cream certainly help my skin to feel and look good after trialling it for quite sometime. It is easy to spread and my skin feel soft and soothing after using it. Love that this moisturiser it's fragrance free. The packaging it's simple and sleek in purple color. However I do not like the jar bottle. Much prefer a pump bottle for hygienic purpose. I've read some retinol will be too strong for certain skin especially on sensitive skin but I've found this moisturizer to be very gentle on my skin. After weeks of using it I've also found my skin to be brighter and my fine lines it's much softer too. Overall very happy with this product. A minus one star from the rating just because I prefer a pump bottle

Soft and nourished

I currently use a competitors retinol cream at a similar price point. This cream worked well in comparison, without all the nasty ingredients - fragrance free! I found that the cream was nourishing to my skin and left it feeling soft and hydrated. I not only used this at night, but also on days when my skin was feeling a little dry and needed some extra attention. My skin has also been feeling smoother since using and the texture improved.

Nightly Hydration

This arrived at the perfect time as I was on the hunt for a new night cream. I found it easy to use with a soft luxurious feel. On waking in the morning my skin looked and felt beautiful and hydrated. I can’t as yet comment if I noticed a reduction of wrinkles and fine lines as I don’t have many to begin with and haven’t used it for more than a week or so (postage delays) but I’ll definitely continue using as I love the way it makes my skin feel.

Actual results!

I loved this! I got so many compliments on my skin whilst using Olay Regenerist Retinol24 Night Moisturiser. Definitely a noticeable improvement on my facial lines and skin tone. I would flag that when I didn’t cleanse my face week before use (ie, used make up wipes only), the cream did not absorb into my skin, it’s just sat on my face and felt dirty. However, when I applied after a shower or after doing a good exfoliation, the absorption was complete and quick. It’s fragrance free and my personal preference is for fragranced cream, but other than that, I thought it was brilliant.

Nice Retinol moisturizer

I loved the feel of this moisturizer on my skin & the absorption into my skin.Like all good things it takes time,to see long lasting results I would need to use this religiously so I will buy it again if it will make a dramatic appearance with my skin.We all want younger more youthful skin & am hoping this product will deliver the results after long term use.

NIght cream that feels and looks luxe

Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser Cream comes in a beautiful purple luxe-looking jar. It has a light scent that is not overpowering and is very minimal.I loved this trial and using this cream on a nightly basis.It has a nice texture and my face felt really hydrated after use. My frown lines and blemishes did not go away but my overall skin texture looked smoother and more radiant.I would recommend to anyone wanting to add a little luxe to the nightly routine.

Good Product!

At the beginning, I was hesitating to start because of the irritation warning! But I really wanted to try because I’ve heard good things of retinol. Although it is my first time using products with retinol, my skin likes it so far! My skin feel soft and silky. And after some weeks no irritation at all ( I am not using it every nigh but alternating). It doesn’t have any smell or parabens in the ingredients, which is definitely a plus. I will recommend to my friends and my family. It does the job, after some weeks I can see the effect on my skin, it looks smoother.

Love this night moisturiser

This cream has become my favourite. Not too oily and left my skin nice and refreshed. Didn’t leave oil marks on my pillow and my skin was nice and smooth when I awoke.

Hydrating and reduction in pores

I have been using this night cream along with the eye cream for a few weeks and I have noticed a reduction in fine lines and my pores look less visible. It has a nice creamy texture and makes my skin feel really smooth. I didn’t have any irritation and saw good results so I will continue to use this.

Luxurious texture | Powerful & proven ingredients

Thank you so much Beauty Crew and Olay for the opportunity to trial this luxurious texture night cream. I have used a few Olay products here and there, and my best Olay discovery was also from Beauty Crew - the Olay Hydrating Eye Cream from a crew kit a year ago or so. Since then, I always look to Olay whenever I am asked to recommend a budget eye cream. This Olay Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser certainly did not disappoint. I love a great user experience and I love its slightly whipped, luxurious texture which is thick but also light enough for instant absorption, with the cream disappear beautifully without too much effort to rub and massage. The product is fragrance free which ticks another box or me - not that I am sensitive to fragrance in general, but scent is such a subjective quality which can make or break. The Retinol 24 range contains Retinyl Propionate (a retinol ester) and also retinol as active ingredients. Also contained in the mix is niaccinamide which, from a brief search of academic research paper, works in synergy with retinyl propionate to improve the appearance of aging skin. Impressively, matrixyl is also included (albeit as the last ingredient) which has proven track record as a line-reduction ingredient. Since retinol can be a very powerful ingredient, the trial instruction is to start this slowly (2-3 times a week) and gradually build up skin tolerance. Luckily for me, no sensitivity is observed so far. That said, it is almost impossible to observe results from such a brief usage and haven't been using this daily. However, my skin is liking this night cream so far and I intend to build the usage up in the near future. I seldom give a full score based on a short usage, but the first impression has been very impressive.

Not the night moisturiser for me.

I love receiving free beauty products in the mail to test and write reviews on, must be the best, most fun hobby a girl could have. I even like testing products that don’t work for me because it sure saves a lot of time, hassle and money later on. This Olay retinol 24 night cream fell into the doesn’t work for me category unfortunately. The smell first off, I thought was simply awful, it claims to be fragrance free but I’m really sensitive to smell in beauty products and I couldn’t get past this particular one. It was rich and creamy and absorbed straight away and I love the cute purple packaging but that’s where the love ends. I used it literally for two nights but will not finish it due to the awful scent and obviously I didn’t see any visible results or changes seeing as I only used it twice. Won’t buy again or recommend it. Just because a product doesn’t work for me or I absolutely hate it, I still love testing them so I know for the future so please lovely Beautycrew, keep on sending them to me so I can keep testing and reviewing them.

Doesn't disappoint

I love all Olay moisturisers and this one didn't disappoint. I have recently been using the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser Cream in conjunction with the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Serum and Night Eye Cream. I normally have quite sensitive skin and found that this wasn't too harsh for my skin. The formula absorbs quickly into the skin leaving my skin feeling fresh and hydrated. My skin is now feeling soft and more youthful. Love it!

If you have fine lines on your forehead or crows feet around your eyes sneaking up then this product is for you! I’m in my mid 30’s and it has really helped to plump and smooth my skin - the lines haven’t disappeared completely but they are definitely less visible. It’s easy to use and comes in a cute little tub. Very easy to introduce to your nightly routine. It’s a new must have in my life!
