Details: Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Powell Festival!

Back for the first time since 2019, this family-friendly free event offers two days of live music (Ryan Cabrera, Spin Doctors), children’s activities, local shopping, food trucks, and a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA).

Downtown Columbus: Red, White & BOOM!

Date: July 1, 2022

Time: Street festival begins at 11:00 a.m. with events happening all day. Parade at 5:30 p.m. and impressive fireworks show at 10:00 p.m.

Details: This amazing events returns for 2022! 40th year celebration so it will be amazing!

Gahanna

Date: Friday, July 1, 2022

Time: 5:30 p.m.

Details: The pinnacle of Summer 2022 in Gahanna will be the Independence Day Celebration, which will kick off on Friday, July 1 at the Gahanna Municipal Golf Course. Starting at 5:30 p.m. with food and live music—the event will culminate with the fireworks display at 10 p.m.

The fun continues on Saturday, July 2, with the 2nd annual Red, White and Blue Block Party, presented by The Gahanna Foundation. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Gahanna Sanctuary and will feature live music.

Parade will be Monday, July 4, beginning at 12:00 pm.

Date: July 1, 2022

Time: Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Details: Come view the Red, White and Boom Fireworks from the screen on the field! Inflatables, live music and much more!

Hilliard 

Date: July 2, 2022 and July 4, 2022

Time: Afternoon and into the evening

Details: Hilliard is having a Freedom Fest on July 2 and Parade on July 4.

Freedom Fest: Singer, Dylan Scott will be the music headliner, food trucks, kid zone and fireworks.

Join the Hilliard community for the annual parade at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 4.

Westerville 4th of July 

Date: July 4, 2022

Time: Parade steps off at 10:30

Details: The Rotary Club of Westerville Independence Day Parade will step off on State Street at a new time this year: 10:30 a.m.

Beginning at 4:00 p.m.; food trucks, bands, and fun will begin!

The Westerville Sports Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave., is the best site for viewing the show!

Dublin

Date: July 4, 2022

Time: Begins with a fishing Derby at 8:00 a.m., parade at 11:00 a.m.

Details: Independence Day will be celebrated on Monday, July 4, 2022. The City of Dublin plans to host a parade in Downtown Dublin, a fireworks display as well as a concert on Coffman High School grounds. Gary Levox to perform from Rascal Flatts for 2022! Tickets are required.

Date: July 4, 2022

Time: 5k race at 8:00 a.m. Parade at 11:00 a.m.- the parade will start at 11:00 am at the New Albany Primary School and end at the Church of the Resurrection.

Details: The Festival is 6:00 p.m. – 9:45 p.m. at the green space at New Albany Middle School, 6600 E. Dublin Granville Road. This free family-friendly event features kids’ activities, bounce houses, ice sculpture demonstration, caricature artists, costume characters & more! Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Date: July 4, 2022

Parade: Beginning at 9 am! Party in the park begins at 5:30 p.m. with 10:00 p.m. fireworks!

The Worthington community will once again celebrate Independence Day with Fireworks on the Fourth of July, with the Rotary Family Picnic returning!
