The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, SEPTA, offers train connection from PHL Airport to city centre. 

Trains operate from 4:52am to 12:30am. 

Stations: Terminal E/F, Terminal C/D, Terminal B, Terminal A (East), Eastwick, University City, 30th Street, and three Center City stations along Market Street. All stations on the Airport Line are wheelchair accessible.

Regional Rail

SEPTA Airport Line can connect to other services of the SEPTA Regional Rail. 

Passengers can transfer at University City, 30th Street, Suburban and Jefferson Stations.

The regional rail line operates every 30 minutes.

Eastwick Station is an intermediate station for PNC Operations Center, Airport hotels, and several SEPTA Bus Routes.

Penn Medicine Station is situated in the heart of University of Pennsylvania's college and health campuses.

At 30th Street Station make convenient connections to Amtrak and NJ Transit rail services; BoltBus and MegaBus services; nearby other SEPTA transit services including the Market-Frankford Line, Trolley Lines and Center City destined Bus Routes. This is also the stop for Drexel University.

Suburban Station is located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia, nearby to a number of major corporations, the Art Museum area and Ben Franklin Parkway. Major transfer point for other SEPTA Regional Rail Lines.

Also located in Center City, Jefferson Station is steps the famous Reading Terminal Market and adjacent to the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Convenient connections to Greyhound and NJ Transit bus services at 10th & Filbert Station. Close to major downtown hotels and a short walk to Historic Philadelphia.

Temple University Station serves the main campus of the famed Philadelphia institution, near the corner of Broad & Cecil B. Moore.

SEPTA

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) provides train service between Center City and the airport on the Airport Regional Rail Line. Trains run every 30 minutes on weekdays and operate from 4:13 am to 11:03 pm (Center City to Airport) and from 5:07 am to 12:07 am (Airport to Center City).On weekends, trains run hourly and operate from 5:13 am to 11:13 pm (Center City to Airport) and from 6:07 am to 12:07 am (Airport to Center City)

Stations on the Airport Regional Rail Line include Terminal E/F, Terminal C/D, Terminal B, Terminal A (East), Eastwick, Penn Medicine, 30th Street, Suburban, Jefferson and Temple. All stations on the Airport Line are wheelchair accessible.

Please note: Due to the platform rehabilitation taking place on the platforms adjacent to South Commercial Road, access to SEPTA North platforms at Terminal A- B, C-D, and E-F will be closed beginning Monday, Sept 12, 2022 at 6:00am. Construction will be ongoing until the Fall of 2023.

The closure of these platforms will require passengers to use the center platform for travel to and from Center City. Passengers must receive their items from the baggage claim area and travel up the escalator, elevator, or stairs to get to the center platform to take the train to Center City.

The airport is also served by three SEPTA bus routes at Zone 1 of the Arrivals Road outside of baggage claim: Route 37, which goes from South Philadelphia to Chester, Pa.; Route 108, which goes from the airport to 69th Street Transportation Center; and Route 115, which goes from the airport to Delaware County Community College.
