The House in the Cerulean Sea The House in the Cerulean Sea What is the message of The House in the Cerulean Sea?An enchanting story, masterfully told, The House in the Cerulean Sea is about the profound experience of discovering an unlikely family in an unexpected place—and realizing that family is yours.
Is The House in the Cerulean Sea LGBT?It's a fantasy novel about finding one's place in the world, discovering found family, and it's filled with tenderness, consciousness, wit and humor. The House in the Cerulean Sea is also a gentle, sweet, LGBTQ love story.
Does The House in the Cerulean Sea have a happy ending? If you're looking for a fun, uniquely magical read with a very happy ending and important themes, this is the novel for you. The House in the Cerulean Sea easily became not just one of my favorite reads of this year, but of all time. I cannot recommend it enough.
Is there romance in The House in the Cerulean Sea?I'm generally not huge on romance, and even though the romance is in some ways a big part of The House in the Cerulean Sea, Klune approaches it like an important subplot. It's there, it builds, and the reader roots for it, but at no point does it become the most important part of the story.
