Fourth of July Fireworks Displays

Enjoy vibrant firework displays all across Atlanta metropolitan area each Fourth of July. In 2022, the Southeast’s largest fireworks show returns to Centennial Olympic Park with Look Up Atlanta on Sunday, July 3. See America’s Got Talent runner-up Angelica Hale and Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra as part of the showcase or celebrate with America’s Pastime by rooting on the Braves at Truist Park.

Peachtree Road Race

Be one of 150,000 spectators cheering on the 60,000 participants in the country’s largest road race. The AJC Peachtree Road Race takes place along the course’s 10-kilometer route from Peachtree Road at Lenox Square Mall to Piedmont Park.

Maravilla uses art to shed light on the collective traumas of undocumented immigrants and cancer survivors and empowers them with the tools to assist with their process of healing.

Fantastic Brush: Twentieth-Century Chinese Ink Art from the Robert and Lisa Kessler Collection

The 23 ink paintings featured in this exhibit showcase some of the most important artists in twentieth-century China, including Zhang Daqian, Qi Baishi, Xu Beihong, Wu Changshuo and Wu Guanzhong. The collection includes examples by teachers and students, friends and colleagues. The artists come from very different backgrounds: some traveled to Europe to study Western art, some went to Japan to study Japanese art and Western art as filtered through Japanese experience, and others never went abroad. Nevertheless, all were well versed in traditional Chinese ink art.
