Pretty simple install. Noticed a slight difference but not sure if it’s worth the money. Used on 2016 3.5 eco boost.

Works great and easy to install.

Definitely overpriced for a piece of aluminum with notches cut in it. Not really sure if it works as stated, put on a 2013 F150 3.5L ecoboost. I also added an AFE stage 2 Cold air intake and a turbosmart supersonic BOV at the same time, so, I'm not really sure if the spacer worked or just worked well with the intake and blow off valve. I saw instant gains in throttle response, acceleration, HP, mpg's (2-3 in city and 3-5 on hwy), and a decrease in turbo spooling time (that's good). Next I will add an AFE cat back exhaust and an SCT Livewire programmer...then I'll see serious HP gains, I might have trouble holding this highway monster on the road!

Purchased for my 14 F150 ecoboost. Noticed more low end power. Also bumped my gas mileage up almost 1 mpg. Instructions were easy to read pretty simple install, maybe 20 minutes. Only gave four stars cause a little pricey for what it is and it didn’t come with a sticker. I also have afe stage 2 intake and afe 4" exhaust with a tuner. Those were done about 10k miles before I put on the spacer.

Horse power was noticeably increased. Not convinced of fuel saving truck says I'm getting the same fuel economy. Easy to install fit perfect less that 30 minutes to install. Instructions are on the money. The air in side is not stamped so grooves inside go towards the throttle body. Over all pleased with purchase.

Did it help? With all of my other modifications I have done to the truck I honestly have no idea. Strangely I swear my fuel mileage went down after installing. I almost removed it, but after roughly two weeks my mileage went back to normal. Maybe bad fuel. But I honestly did not notice any type of gains. Is it worth the $90+? Probably not, but in the past on other vehicles I have noticed gains after installing TB spacers. Maybe everything I have done masked the performance.

I installed both the spacer and cold air intake and noticed a power difference and a gain in mpg as long as I don't use the power. Great buy

First off, this is not meant to help you gain power. I see several reviews of people complaining about no power gains. Second, if you are getting a whistling noise, you probably didn't install this properly. Lastly, if you don't see mpg gains, you are probably driving with a lead foot. My tests were done under normal in-town and highway conditions while mostly following speed limits. I saw 2 mpg gains within 900 miles of driving. The bottom right hand of the photos show the Avg MPG. Before I installed this spacer, I was getting 18.1 mpg. After installing the spacer, I am currently getting 18.7. So far, I have driven around 400 miles with the spacer installed. I will update when I drive around 1000 miles. So far, I am happy with the purchase. Every bit of gas saved is money earned.*Update* Since installing the spacer, I have driven a little over 900 miles and I am averaging 2 miles per gallon more. That is a huge gain in a Ram 1500 5.7 liter V8.

Adds a nice sound when combined with an intake and around the powerband creates a lovely whistling sound reminds me of my wrx when the turbo would aspirate.

The media could not be loaded.

Definitely increased the low-end throttle response. There is a noticeable addition of torque throughout the low- and mid-range of the throttle position, which means the throttle response throughout this range was also improved. The hesitation has been reduced, and I don't find myself wanting to drive it in to the high-end (above 4k RPM) to get the response I'm looking for. Since the engine now has a better throttle response in the lower range, I expect it will most likely help increase MPG. There was a noticeable decrease in the "droning" as well (when "ECO mode" kicks in).

The package says "the whistle tells you its working". The "whistle" is at best unremarkable. I noticed a faint whistle around 2700 - 3100 RPM -- within this range is the only time I can actually hear it whistle. Regardless, I can tell by the engine response that it's working, and honestly, I'm happy it doesn't whistle (noticeably) while it works.

--Installation Notes--
The instructions are straightforward with the exception of two items:
1) you will need an 8mm socket for the TBI bolts -- not a 10mm as sited in the instructions;
2) you really should trim your engine cover for a good fit. The engine cover will snap into the ball sockets without trimming it, but it rests snuggly on top of the actuator of the TBI creating an "interference fit". I used a Dremel tool to trim 3/8 inches from the cover around the actuator and it removed the interference (see pictures).

I've tried these before on other vehicles I've owned only to end in disappointment. Never added power, fuel mileage, anything. However, I had some money to waste after VW paid me to buy back my TDi so I decided to try and get some better MPG into my Ram 1500 HEMI. I thought, eh why not give it another shot. If it doesn't work, I can get my money back. I already had a K&N intake, Cherry Bomb muffler, and removed some vacuum lines and added a crank case breather. I actually noticed a difference with this spacer. I didn't notice any power, except when climbing hills. It would no longer gear down on the hills that it normally would do so. It also cleaned up some of the stutter on acceleration. It actually did add some MPG also. I didn't notice any whistle that others have noticed until I bought a tuner from SuperChips. (I've also been disappointed by tuners in the past but since the spacer surprised me I thought I would give one a shot. I am happy with it.) Now it will whistle on some hills and at some RPM ranges but it isn't constant and you can't hear it at all if the radio is on. Overall, I am very happy and for me and the way I drive, this was no waste of money.

I know it sounds petty but I have a red theme under my hood and purchased this one over the AFE one merely because of that. Unfortunately it came black. I returned it for another and stated I wanted red and got black again. Returned it and moved on. The item itself was great though. Felt better low end and had a slight whistle.

Took less than 20 minutes to install. There is NO whistle. I already have the K & N air filter system, Jet stage 1 chip and Flowmaster exhaust installed on my 2013 Ram. I really could care less what MPG I get. The air temperature at the time of install was below freezing so I won't be able to fully assess any gain for a few months. It is interesting to note that I don't see any published power or torque gains on this unlike the 3 products I've already installed.

The product in question in theory would work if they didn't send out such cheap O-Rings. I follow all of the instructions and installed the unit. Once the unit was on I then started up my 2011 Dodge Ram 5.7 Hemi, it sounded like a turbo was attached to the engine. When pressing on the pedal it would produce a loud high pitched whistle, once you stop putting pressure on the pedal you would here a blow off like a turbo. Upon further investigation into the unit the O-Ring was defective and had "lumps" or "Bumps" , this was the root cause of the issue. A product that cost $200 should not have a problems with it because it is a straight forward blot on.

How much horsepower does a throttle body spacer and cold air intake add?

With a throttle body spacer, it is possible to increase the torque by 25 ft lbs and add up to 18 more horsepower. Not all throttle body kits can be used for all engines.

Can you install a throttle body spacer with a cold air intake?

Installing a Throttle Body Spacer is one way to get some extra horsepower and performance out of your engine, and it's an excellent choice when you're equipped with a cold air intake system.

Do throttle body spacers do anything?

An additional test was run after removing the spacer, resulting in a return of the lost horsepower. Proving that some spacers can actually rob power from an engine. After seeing the results, it was clear that throttle body spacers were simply gimmicks and provided no real performance value.

Will a cold air intake help with throttle response?

Beyond the horsepower increase, cold air intakes can also provide better throttle response and improved fuel economy. When your engine has the ability to get more air, it has the ability to create more power. ... A performance exhaust system removes more of these gases from your engine, allowing for better combustion.
