What is the largest harley davidson dealership

Scottsdale might now be hog heaven. Earlier this month, the city became home to the largest Harley-Davidson dealership in the world when Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale moved into its new 150,000-square-foot, two-story space at 15656 N. Hayden Road.

Although approximately 470 bikes will be on display at any given time—120 on the main floor, 75 out on the patio, and another 275 in the basement—the dealership is more than a showroom for the latest Harley-Davidson models.

In addition to bikes, the dealership includes a Leather and Lace lingerie boutique, a Club Tattoo piercing and tattoo studio, and a 95-seat chapel and multipurpose room for weddings and events (Go-Daddy founder Bob Parsons, who owns the dealership, performed the first wedding in the chapel).

There’s also a 48-seat movie theater in the basement where customers can watch movies, see bike demos, learn about new product releases, and attend seminars.

On the main floor, you’ll find Harley brand clothing, accessories, riding gear, and luggage next to an Arizona-themed photo booth. A gong—the original one used on stage by Blue Oyster Cult drummer Albert Bouchard—sits near the door, waiting to be struck anytime a customer becomes a new member of the hog family.

If you want to look under the bike before making that exciting purchase, seven hydraulic lifts throughout the showroom and in the movie theater allow you to do so without getting down on the ground and straining to look up.

The dealership also features a rumble zone where customers can start various motorcycles and listen to the different exhaust systems on them while an exhaust fan removes the fumes from the room. There is also a separate, enclosed audio room where customers can listen to audio, GPS, and communication systems at full blast without disturbing the rest of the dealership.

Upstairs, in the customer lounge, you can play games in the free arcade, enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, or sip a cup of Joe from the coffee bar, located next to the outdoor events space that will host bands and DJs on the weekends. An outdoor wash station is also available in the area that allows bikers to clean up after a ride.

Parsons recently told the Phoenix Business Journal that he wanted the dealership to be “a total attraction” that gives people “a reason to come and hang out.”

Sometimes, though, you might have to visit out of necessity, not choice. Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale’s massive new space includes a large, state-of-the-art service department with 16 technician bays, each with two lifts. More good news for Harley owners: the department opens at 7:30 a.m. so you can drop your bike off before work.

Don’t own a Harley but still want to ride? The dealership also operates the second largest rental fleet in the country. All rentals include free DOT-approved helmet, Harley-Davidson rain gear, and 24-hour roadside assistance. Most rentals have unlimited mileage, as well.

After 22 years of service at its Black Bear Lane premises, Newmarket Harley-Davidson have moved location to a new purpose-built showroom for the first time today.

Promising to be both ‘bigger and better’ than the previous store layout, the new dealership is located on Oaks Drive, Newmarket Business Park, and covers 15,000 square feet – making it the UK’s largest Harley dealership as well as one of the largest structures on the trading estate.

Franchisees Lind Automotive have retained the wooden fascia design on the roof to mimic the previous location and there is a handy 200-person capacity warehouse for parties and events. A 35-space car park also means plenty of room for bikes.

Staff are now planning a big launch event on Saturday 2 March 2019. Located close to the A14, A11 and M11 as well as the East Coast Ports and Stansted Airport, the dealer is also planning regular bike nights, too.

More roads to Harley-Davidson

Now could be the ideal time to update the Newmarket dealership too, with Harley-Davidson promising a new wave of radical machines, set to arrive in the near future.

Announced to the public in late July 2018, the new line-up is arguably the biggest shake up in the brand’s history, with new models aimed squarely at attracting a new, younger audience as well as updating their existing raked-out muscle cruiser range.

Ranging from the Pan America 1250 adventure bike, to the Streetfighter 975 and an all-new Livewire electric bike, set to arrive later this year.
