Our dog ate the original this one was a life saver!

My dog chewed up my original remote two years ago now. I only used my fire stick on my tv so I wasn’t in a huge rush to order a replacement. I Was a little skeptical buying a generic brand but once I got the remote and popped in the batteries I had no issues. I don’t know why I didn’t order this remote ages ago.

I don't like the way the battery is replaced. No instructions, and it is not exactly straight forward as to how to get that back-cover off. Which makes me ask: why NOT either ship it with a battery already in it?
( That's how it came with the TV when we bought it, and surely it can't increase the price by that much).
Or include precise instructions on how to do it if you don't want to sell it ready
to use!
It's called customer service! We need more of it.

Seems to do its job alright. No frills to comment on. Would be nice if it had the Netflix and Amazon Video buttons.

It does the job, but 8 months later I am shopping for a replacement because this one stopped working.

Works great, but does not have a "tools" button like my original remote. (I did order the remote listed to replace the model number of my original.)

Functionally it does everything that my original remote did, so that's good. But it is much lighter, a little bit smaller and just generally feels less substantial than the original remote, so I am a little concerned with how long it will last. Also, in the original one the volume and channel buttones wiere more prominent and white, and the buttons lit up in the dark, which this one doesn't have. That being said it is less than half the cost of getting the genuine one from samsung, so if you;re just looking for a cheap replacement that works, this is great.
