I am excited to welcome you to the official website of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Beta Zeta Zeta Chapter, Cincinnati, Ohio. We are a diverse chapter with Sorors of all ages, backgrounds, talents and professional careers. We have members that have served or are currently serving on every level in the sorority, state, regional, and national.

The fabulous women of Beta Zeta Zeta Chapter have proudly served the Cincinnati area since our chartering in 1943, upholding the sorority’s founding principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Our Sorority recently celebrated its Centennial Anniversary on January 16, 2020.,  To commemorate this momentous event, Beta Zeta Zeta Chapter was recognized as a Crystal Visionary Chapter, a donor for the Tyler Sisters Memorial in Dayton, OH and a donor for the 100th anniversary monument at Howard University.

We serve our community through participating in walks and fundraisers for Breast Cancer Awareness, St Jude, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion, among others. We collect towels for a local YWCA Shelter which are used by survivors of domestic violence at local shelters.

We also participate in and host community programs such as HBCU College fairs, an Eldercare program at the Lincoln-Crawford Home, volunteer service at Matthew 25 Ministries and Operation Christmas Child/Samaritan’s Purse, and a Cocoa with a Black Santa event for the community.

Since the 1940s, Beta Zeta Zeta Chapter has awarded scholarships to young African American ladies graduating from Cincinnati area high schools at our Finer Womanhood Scholarship and Recognition Events. To raise funds for our scholarships, recent fundraisers have included the Blue Word and Sound Poetry Nights, our 75th Anniversary Gala, All White Day Party (sponsored by the Beta Zeta Zeta Education Foundation, Inc.) and others. As of 2018, our scholarships, service and youth activities are primarily funded through the Beta Zeta Zeta Education Foundation, Inc.

The chapter proudly sponsors an auxiliary group called Amicae. These are service oriented women who do not have a four- year college degree and are not members of a Greek-letter organization.  If you are interested in learning! about our Amicae group, please click here. Additionally, we have a youth auxiliary group for school age young ladies. If you are interested in learning more about our youth auxiliary group, please click here.

We are also the sponsoring graduate chapter for Beta Eta Chapter at the University of Cincinnati. To learn more about our undergraduate chapter please click here.  If you are a college graduate interested in membership, please click here.

In addition to service and programming, we love to fellowship and just “hang out” as sisters. Together we read the latest novels, rate the local restaurants, wind down at happy hour events, take on special projects, see the latest plays, and celebrate special occasions with each other.

We have a very close relationship with our brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Delta Theta Sigma chapter. We support their programs and events as well as other Divine Nine Greek Organizations.  We welcome support and participation from you, your family and friends at any of our upcoming community affairs. Follow us on social media to stay apprised of our upcoming events and activities.
