1.0 out of 5 stars Lasted a year and a half and then started leaking again.

Well, this is a year and a half follow up from my purchase in November 2019. This item initially solved my oil leak problem but yesterday I developed a horrible coolant leak. Coolant was leaking down the bell housing and blowing back onto the transfer case and gas tank. When I got down to the oil cool unit, I could tell that it was just leaking coolant, not oil. I decided to pull the unit out and inspect because it was evident it was either the housing itself or the hose leading to the housing. When I took the house off, I couldn’t find where the leak was coming from so I thought maybe the seals had gone bad once again. I pulled the seals out and that is when I found this. A quarter of the plastic housing had broken off under the seal, making the seal completely worthless. For products that are mechanical in nature, I would write this off to use over time. However, this is literally just plastic and has no moving parts. I had to order a new one this morning to get the Jeep back on the road. Going to try a different distributor this time and cross my fingers. 🤞

Bought this for my 2013 wrangler and after a year and a half it failed. Leaking again! I torqued everything to spec. This is a lengthy repair so do not get this!

Was needing this replaced and was quoted over $800 mainly because of this part. Found this on here and decided to give it a try before spending $800. Everything works! No leaks and has all the parts that I needed for the job. Glad I purchased this.

I read and heard bad rumors about these. I ended up replacing the gaskets with ones from my local auto parts store, although they looked to be the same thickness and quality. I also replaced the temp and pressure sensors with the original ones because of rumors these fail after a couple months. It has been 3 months so far, and (knock on wood) no issues or leaks!

Do not waste your time and money buying this aftermarket part. Trust me. It is totally worth it spending an extra hundred to $200.04 the actual OEM part. Nine months, or so, after installing the part it started to leak worse than it did before. I ended up taking the jeep to a mechanic and paying 1000 bucks to let them do it because I hurt my back. Trust me, do not try to save money on this type of parts. Just spend the money and get the normal $300 part
