Running boards for trucks are usually 4”-7” wide with a flat step that runs the length of the cab. Wheel to wheel running boards are also available for truck owners who need a step at the bed. Running boards are made of durable materials such as steel, aluminum, and composite.

If you’re looking for a narrower, rounder step, nerf bars are worth your attention. Usually made of steel, nerf bars are 3”-5” in diameter and are available in wheel to wheel and cab-length options. Some nerf bar designs incorporate a hoop step, which drops down from the main bar to provide a lower step than most boards and bars.

For the lowest step distance, automatic truck steps such as AMP running boards come down when you open your door and retract when the door is closed. This allows the steps to come down far lower than traditional boards since they’re effectively hidden and snug against the truck when not in use, giving you plenty of ground clearance.

Just put them on today so this is not rating the product but the look and install. There is two different sizes of bolt lengths. No where in the directions does it tell you which bolts go where. However, I installed the longer bolts into the vehicle and the shorter bolts into the running board itself. Hope this helps someone.

Very stylish, took approximately 90 minutes to install.
Love they use the factory bolt holes, etc.
A couple of pictures attached.
A little disgruntled that the listing does not state where manufactured or how to get in touch with the seller. Still a little confused as to where to contact if there is an issue??

A little concerned that all 8 mounting brackets were essentially the same, in my opinion, there should have been a left hand set and a right hand set.

Overall, very happy with the look and function.

These running boards look great and are the correct proportion for the truck. There are four brackets which make the them very sturdy. The instructions are decent with some basic pictures. However, the install in super simple and it perfectly bolts up to existing factory mounts. Love them!!

these were fairly easy to install. A little learning curve. They have a scuff on one of them, but not enough to send back
