Can a baby bottle nipple be used as a silencer

I'm not going to kill anyone in young... And I wonder how "The walking dead" video game with the gun to the pillow. And "Monk" in the submarine episode where the captain used the bottle? Does it actually work?

It does, sort of...and it depends on ur materials. It's, also, a felony for EACH piece of it if you get caught with it...so I wouldn't recommend trying it.

How cool would it be if silencers could be crafted with inventory items to attach to your gun?

Silencers would not be SILENT. They would be TEMPORARY AND REALISTIC, meaning that they would still make a lot of noise. They would also only last for a few shots.

This would allow us to kill zombies or wild animals without having to use a bow or repeatedly strike them with a melee. It would also allow you to kill zombies or animals without attracting KOS OR kill Zombies without attracting more zombies.

This would not be a CSGO military grade silencer.

You could take the silencer off when in normal game play but whenever stealth is needed it could be applied to weapon of choice.

Possible Recipe:

Bottle Silencer (can only be used for 1-2 suppressed shots):
-1 Bottle of stagnant, dirty or purified water. -Maybe scrap cloth for fastening it to barrel.
Pipe Silencer (can be used for 10-20 suppressed shots): -1- Metal Pipe -10- Scrap cloth for packing silencer.

What do you think?

EDIT: oppoi made a good point that silenced weapons should deal less damage. I agree.

I just heard this...

put a new baby nipple on the end of a 22 rifle with duck tape and it acts as a silence for the first shot, and sometimes the second shot......

True or not?

Yes but the screams of the baby negate any advantage of the muffled muzzle blast.

Wouldn't the first shot have to get stuck in the barrel to not make a sound?

In other words, if the round exits, so will the sound?

The rounds all leave a standard suppressor, but the sound is muffled.

There is a little trap door that opens and closes like really really fast. You had to oil the hinges on the old silencers.

They say a plastic soda bottle that has a mouth that snugly fits the diameter of the bull barrel on a .22 pistol like a KMK512 Ruger is an effective silencer too.

My neighbor just told me the same thing. His father lived in the city and was having problems with ground hogs. His medicine is a 22 with a baby nipple. Says it works..

A while back someon posted a video of a guy (I can only assume he had a manufacturer's license) testing the soda bottle out on a 9mm. It definitely worked.

I have also seen pics of a device some company made that screws onto a threaded bbl and accepts a soda bottle in theads on the other side. IIRC they said he ATF ruled it no-go for some reason, but I could be wrong.

It would sure be a neat device to have if you can still buy them. You'd never wear it out. But I think the argument was that each new bottle you attached became a new silencer, so you'd have to register each bottle.

How can I make my baby nipples bigger?

Make a pinhole at the tip of the bottle if there is no hole at all. Push the pin through from the inside of the nipple going out of the tip. If there is a hole that needs to be widened, push the tip of a toothpick into it from the inside going out.

How do you soften bottle nipples?

You may want to immerse the nipple in warm water for some time to help soften it. Dipping it in expressed breast milk may also help whet baby's appetite and entice him to take the bottle more easily.
