Finding where your refrigerator should be very easy – most refrigerators have a water line that runs through the cabinets to below the sink. Once you locate the source, there should be a valve. Turn the valve clockwise until it won’t turn anymore. 2. Drain the Water from the Refrigerator Using a pitcher or large glass, drain the water from the cup filler on the front of the refrigerator. Make sure you drain all the water from your refrigerator so you won’t have any leaking when you remove the filter. 3. Remove Water Filter The water filter will be located inside the refrigerator, at the top left of the refrigerator part. Flip down the cover; you will see an arrow on the cap pointing to the right. Turn it counter-clockwise until the arrow is pointing up. The filter should slide right out. After the filter is removed, make sure you take the cap off of the old filter and then dispose of the used filter properly. 4. Install New Filter Click cap onto the new filter. Insert new filter with the arrow pointing up; then turn the filter clockwise until you hear a click. The arrow should be pointing to the right. 5. Finish Once you have the new filter installed, turn the water back on. Then you will need to “bleed” the line. Run the water for five minutes to ensure there is no air left in the line. Once that is done, you should be all set! If the filter light hasn’t reset, just press and hold the filter button on the front of the freezer door.
