The upgrade they gave me was the worst room in the bldg. I rarely have any problems with Marriott hotels, so this stood out a little bit. Let me start with the Excellent staff, like Carlos and Nilso. Friendly, helpful and eager to please. The hotel is in need of a major overhaul. Bathrooms have a spartan feel with no hair dryer and no box of tissues. (I finally found one.) I would stay again, mostly just because of the staff. Unprofessional staff, broken pipe with a smell of mold and termites in the room. The issue of my refund has yet not been taken care of Pros:The hotel was clean. Cons:There was no personal touch to make the customer feel comfortable. Pros:Ideal location. Cons:One elevator was broken for the entire 3 week stay. A little more variety in breakfast. More modern coffee makers. Better cleaning of the laundry room trash area. Pros:The location was great to spend time at Disney springs and Disney world. We also thought the continental breakfast had a nice variety. Cons:Our room Had an odd musty smell that made my nose run. Cons:Staff not very welcoming Pros:Was really pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean, the breakfast had multiple choices and they were all good. The best part was the staff. They were very helpful and courteous. Will be going back to Orlando in a few months months and will stay there again. Great experience Pros:Smaller property, friendly staff, excellent free hot Buffett breakfast, comfy beds, Paul Mitchell toiletries, location to parks. Cons:Disappointed because we chose this hotel for location and advertisement of shuttle to Epcot. Problem is there is only transportation TO Epcot in the early part of day. We arrived to check in at 4:00 and the last shuttle TO Epcot was 1:00 pm, Wish there was in indoor pool.
