I had a previous version that lasted me 7 years with zero problems and I basically wore it out. I waited several months till I could order a new one and as soon as it was available I put in my order. Item shipped quickly and only required minimal assembly. I am 68 and the electric start is a thing of beauty! It is sturdy and well made. It is self propelled and makes quick work of cutting under trees and around bushes. The collection bag is sturdy and easy to empty. my terrain is not a manicured lawn but lined by wooded areas so I use this to keep those areas trimmed back and it is a workhorse. Maintenance is minimal because of the lawnmower design. I loved this machine so much that I have given it to my father for ease of grass cutting and he enjoys it for every summertime lawn care. Parts are very easy to obtain through the online catalog as well with helpful staff on the phones to assist you with any questions. I upgraded to the XP490 and satisfied with the purchase.
