Good location, not far from the main attractions, also next to the subway station. There is a Market 2 Market on the negative floor of the subway station. The 7.5-9 pounds buffet is very cost-effective and closes at 17:00. It's not the Food Court with the promotional sign, it's inside the Reagan Trade Center, it's farther away and needs security. When I went there, I caught up with the baseball team to celebrate the road closure around the parade, and the next day, a long-distance running event closed the road for a few hours. They were all police cars. The lobby bar and restaurant are almost empty during the day and are full every night. The overall feeling is magnificent, the room is very good, that is, the bathroom is too big and almost as big as the bedroom, there are free Evian and slippers and water printed with Trump. The service staff was also very welcoming. You can climb the Bell Tower for free and watch from Starbucks.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, you can basically walk through all the attractions, the hotel reception staff is very polite, lazy to find food for breakfast in the hotel, the food is delivered on time, the price is not expensive, and the overall impression of Washington is great.

I checked in and found that the hotel is almost next to the White House. I woke up in the morning and went out to run and exercise. I checked in several nearby attractions from different perspectives of the White House. Within walking distance of each museum. The hotel decoration is very tasteful, the waiters are particularly polite, the rooms are comfortable and luxurious, and the stay is very satisfactory.

There is no breakfast, but there are quite a few meals downstairs and around. There are two bedrooms, a living room and a sofa bed, which should be able to live with a family. I didn't know the parking situation without driving. A few steps away is the White House, and the surrounding environment is very good. Would highly recommend to friends who want to go to Washington to play.

There is a restaurant in the lobby of the hotel, which opens at three o'clock in the afternoon. The dishes are delicious, especially salmon. The spy museum is very close. Went to have a look, there is love. There is interaction suitable for children. Close to the pier, go to the seafood market to eat seafood, there are piles of seafood from each state, and all kinds of sauces are very enjoyable! You can take your children to eat. Couples are not suitable, because it is a place to feast, it is not suitable to wear too good and high heels 😄 family can go to old couples can go. Couples can go to restaurants or cafes on the shore. Tuna is delicious 😋 A good place to have some wine or coffee for a chat. The location here is so good, come again next time!

It is very comfortable to live, it is also close to Chinese Street, to a series of attractions such as the World War II Memorial Lincoln Memorial, and a ten-minute drive to the Captain white seafood market. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service is perfect. Overall good. The only drawback is probably that wifi is too slow. US apps such as Netflix are fine, but normal Chinese ones such as WeChat or using a laptop to go online are very slow. This network really makes me uncomfortable, choking people who have not bought a card in the United States ...

I want to publicly thank the amazing staff here who made my month-long stay wonderful! Bryan, Melvin, Mohamed, all the valet crew, Chris, Faisal, Markos, Cecilie, and the front desk staff. Belinda at the front desk was such a sweetheart and so much fun to talk to. Her outfits are on point, too! Everyone was kind, quick to help, always asked how I was doing, always with a smile, and it felt really nice to be able to say hi to everyone day in and day out during my stay. The hotel amenities are terrific. The gym is has treadmills, a Peleton, weights, a bike, and an elliptical machine. (My only suggestion is to make sure the equipment is calibrated correctly). The happy hour each night is perfect for when I return from work (5-6pm). There is coffee in the morning starting at 6:30 am. I also brought my cat with me for the entire month and she got to walk around the hotel and check out everything. She was a big hit with the guests! This is the friendliest hotel and the only hotel I will stay in when I come to D.C. For those of you who stay on the 2nd floor, you may see these little doors along the hallway. They look like magical Alice in Wonderland doors. I found out they are just sprinklers/valves in there (sorry to ruin the magic ;) ). I am sad to leave D.C. and really sad to leave Kimpton. Thank you for the excellent customer service and for all your kindness!

Stayed there last month and wasn’t disappointed. Great location for the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, and Washington Monument. Easy to get to the GWU Foggy Bottom Metro Station from where you can travel anywhere in the DC Area. Hotel rooms are very well laid out with comfortable beds and plush pillows. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. There is a coffee bag processor in the rooms with supplied creamer and sugar. There is a mini fridge in the room too. There is a Starbucks on the corner and a Subway next door to the hotel. Around the block there is a 7-11 Convenience Store.

Hotel location is good, close to the White House. But it is not convenient to eat nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the facilities are relatively simple. It must be said that the front desk introduced that coffee and snacks are available all day on the second floor. As a result, the coffee machine is often broken and snacks are not seen. Only in the last two days were some apples, oranges, peanut kernels and chocolate beans better than nothing.

The hotel rooms are large and the location is good, not far from the attractions. We went on Thanksgiving and there were few people. Unfortunately, many restaurants were closed that day. Fortunately, whole food is not far away, you can only buy something there to eat. Because it is a suite, there is a kitchen in the room, and there are all utensils. When I go next time, I will bring some ingredients to burn.

We were able to check in early (around noon) which was VERY much appreciated. Although we were only sitting on a train for 3 hours, it was a little exhausting walking in the heat. The room is bright and nice but it didn’t seem as though it was thoroughly turned over. There was a hair on the bed and bathroom when we arrived. There was one paper cup with two lids. The amenities included bottle water but non to be found. There was a red ring around the shower. Otherwise the positives were the beds very comfortable and the blackout curtains worked well. Hotel is conveniently located across from Whole Foods and between two metro stations within walking distance.

The location is excellent, in the dock area, it seems to be the local high-end living and entertainment area, the restaurants are relatively high-end. The night view is not bad. The hotel is very new, the door is small, the lobby needs to take the elevator to the second floor. The room is large, the health is good, and the view is good. The only downside is that the water in the faucet is not very clean at first, so it will be fine for a while.

The hotel room and location are good. You can visit the famous spots by foots. The only thing need to argue is the room cleaning service. The housekeeper seem scheduled to knock your room for cleaning services at 8-9am. Even I was a business traveler I don’t know the room can ready for early morning. The aweful thing is they just skip to cleaning my room. Anyway, i just stay 2 nights so i am fine.

Of all the wonderful things that RCDC has to offer, the most noteworthy thing for us is the staff at the Club Lounge. All staff members did an excellent job; particularly worth mentioning for their service are Jenny, Nayana and especially Kathy Turner. We are also especially grateful to Fatiha, also at the Club Lounge. We like to read a paper copy of The New York Times on Sunday mornings; when none was available, she or somebody else may have gone across the street and purchased one specifically for us, probably from the pharmacy. We especially appreciated the array of options offered at the presentations in the Club Lounge. We have visited many of Club Lounges throughout the RC array of properties and these offerings were certainly among the best. Particularly wonderful were the evening desserts prepared by the Pastry Chef, Patricia Serryburton. Most of the offerings were amazing; a few were knock-outs (that’s a compliment). All were beautifully presented. This is a fine hotel; for those who want the addition of the Club Lounge as part of their experience, we recommend the Club enthusiastically. It’s great to have the extra space just to relax, meet friends, read, or whatever—well worth the extra expense. And, with a dedicated staff like the one described above, this Club is hard to beat.

This was my first experience at a hostel, so I really can't compare it to others, however, I enjoyed my stay here. The checkin process and using the app they have can be challenging so read the emails they send you and try to arrive within the front desk operating hours so someone can assist you. Pods were nothing fancy but sufficient. I'm a 5'10”, 200 lb guy and slept pretty comfortably. They have a coffee shop on the first floor that is ok for a quick cup. The showers are in the basement and they provide towels, ask the front desk for a new one every day. The location is great as it is right by the U-street Metro station and thus the rest of DC is at your fingertips. I really enjoyed the chill vibe they had and met some great people there too!

I've stayed in 6 different hotels in D.C. in the past year. This is one to which I'll definitely return. The location works well when I'm visiting my daughter at college. And, as I like to walk, it's an easy walk to a good Whole Foods and the Foggy Bottom metro station. Its also a fairly long--but pleasant--walk to the White House, Lincoln Memorial, etc. The rooms are large. The bathrooms are extremely well thought out. The shower was huge with a textured floor that prevented slipping. Our room on the front of the hotel was quiet enough for us to sleep well. We liked the front desk staff. The housekeeping staff did a great job! The only thing that gave us pause was that you have to go up a small flight of stairs to reach the elevator and there's no bellman. However, the front desk staff immediately offered to carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs, so we were fine. We liked the neighborhood, and there's an excellent bakery/coffee shop (Tatte) nearby. This hotel is definitely a keeper.

I chose the AC DC Downtown as the base for my travels within the nation’s capital back in July 2020. The location is absolutely unbeatable, as everything you’d need for a fulfilling DC adventure is no further than a few blocks. I appreciated my stay at this AC property and consider it to be worthy of four stars, but I hope to see improvements on just a few small aspects of my experience for next time. I should begin with the highest compliments to the staff; they were kind and attentive to all my needs. They worked to ensure I had a room facing the interior courtyard space, rather than the street, which is always a preference for me. A few guests in an adjacent room to mine were hard at work partying or goofing off or whatever, blasting loud music at around one in the morning (when I arrived after my late-night flight), and the night auditor quickly phoned that room to make them aware of their excessive noise. It stopped within minutes. And when I had to check-out early the next morning instead of stay one more night, my reservation was edited professionally and without hassle. Bravo to the staff! (Moreover, I also wish to shout-out managers Donald LeCompte and Leroy Turnquest for personally following up via email on my stay—I could tell they cared about guests’ experiences and how to best serve them again in the future. Much appreciated to receive these messages!) Now I wanna sort of sway into the aspects of my time at the AC I would’ve enjoyed better had just a few tiny improvements been made—and much of this can stem from my proactivity next visit. The rooms were COVID-clean, comfy, and very quiet from the outside air/sky/atmosphere, but their functionality was a bit questionable. I realize ACs are geared toward shorter, urban-focused stays during which the idea of a hotel isn’t as paramount, but I would’ve loved to utilize larger bedside tables/stands and more spacious walkways. If I remember correctly, I was specifically given a mobility-accessible room, which is basically false advertising for wheelchair-bound folks.
