Method 1: Get Cash App to reimburse your ATM feesCash App will cover your ATM fees if you get $300 or more deposited directly into your Cash App account each month. The deposits must be in the form of salaries or unemployment benefits (what Cash App terms a “qualifying deposit”). Cash App covers both the bank's fees and Cash App's ATM fees, up to $7 per withdrawal. And you can withdraw up to 3 times in the 31 days following your deposit. Every time you make a qualifying deposit, Cash App renews the 31 days of ATM fee reimbursement. We found that setting up direct deposits was really easy and Cash App started automatically returning the ATM fees. You won't need to manually request for the reimbursements. Method 2: Transfer from Cash App to your bank account, then withdraw from ATMThis method will allow you to get money off your Cash App for free. The only catch is that it's not instant. In a nutshell, you send the money from Cash App to your bank account using the no-fee standard transfer. This will take 1 – 3 business days to go through. From there, you just go to your bank's ATM and withdraw your money. Usually your bank won't charge a fee for ATM withdrawals, making the entire transaction free. How much can you save with these fee-free methods?You can use any ATM with the Cash App card, but most banks charge a non-network ATM fee. Here's how much you'd pay per withdrawal using the Cash App card and how much you'll save if you follow our methods:
As you can see, you could be saving anywhere from $4 to $5 a transaction. Multiply that by the 3 times that Cash App will cover, and you're looking at savings of $12 to $15 every 31 days.
