Hull the berries and chop them roughly. Place the chopped berries in freezer for an hour. Along with berries also freeze 1 cup milk. Pro Tips

A good strawberry milkshake starts with a good ice cream. Let’s fact it you can of course make this drink without ice cream but it is just not the same. For a super rich and indulgent treat make this recipe with ice cream and a good one at that.

While many recipes use strawberry ice cream for making milkshake, I like to use vanilla ice cream for a subtle not over powering strawberry flavor. Use whichever you like.

Frozen milk or at the least super cold milk is what you want for that creamiest milkshake. If you have not tried this tip, please do once to know what I mean.

Always use full fat milk for rich milkshake. If you want to make a skinny shake go for low fat milk.

Use a high power blender for a smooth creamy shake. Also blending the berries first will save you from biting into tart berries while enjoying a creamy milkshake.

Next, I suggest you thaw the ice cream for 10-15 minutes or until it turns a bit soft before blending.

To make this drink more special you can top the milkshake with some strawberry syrup or strawberry sauce before serving. You can also pipe some whipped cream and add some sprinkles or chocolate shavings before serving.

This milkshake tastes good when served fresh. I do not recommend storing it for more than 3-4 hours. If you have leftovers freeze it for a day at the maximum and thaw in refrigerator before serving.
