Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent rangefinding bino & ballistic solver I've used these for almost a year now; between both hunting and precision shooting matches. They are excellent. Glass quality is in the realm of the viper line. The rangefinder is quick and intuitive to use. The ballistic program that goes with it is incredible. AB is a premier company in the ballistics realm and having that data built into a easy to use app is great. Also not paying extra for custom drag curves is an added bonus. I have not bought a kestrel to link to it, but the stand alone unit has definitely put me on target at distance. Very excited to see more applications of this tech used in the product lines.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Brian from Great Glass and Quality Ballistics The ballistics seem to work well and the glass is great. I am having trouble with the App though. I would call myself a techie and connection is straight forward, but the binos fail to sync custom rifles. I would recommend, but I wish the connection to the smartphone was more stable.

I do not understand why you would produce a device that has the technical capabilities of measuring inclination and azimuth but is unable to link to a GPS system to get a grid of the point you are lasing. Seems like a very short leap. Your stuff still rocks though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike from Great optic I bought this optic to pair with my garmon tactix watch, this optic hits right on the money, glass is perfectly clear, even in low light, i do not like the auto brightness feature, it tends to be hard to see at times so i keep my setting on 5 and its perfect, paired with my watch, i was able to transition between 100 meters, to 300 meeters, to 500 meters, then ended on 800 meters, all on steel in 1 shot after adjustements according to the calculator, (super impressive) the app works about 98% of the time, some times i have to range a target twice befor it links to my phone and gives me an adjustment display. Highly recomend. With it would have came with a hat, and a sticker for my rifle case. Great job vortex, its my 5th prduct from yall and you have yet to dissappoint. Thank you

Rated 4 out of 5 by NeMuscle from Overall happy with the purchase, but... I needed a new set of bino's anyways and it was time I buy a decent rangefinder, so I talked myself into these. Pros: Glass you'd come to expect from Vortex. Heavy duty construction that seems it will hold up to any environment. Very easy to operate once its all set up. I like the fact that I can range an object and get the correction displayed within seconds, without even taking off my gloves. At least the elevation correction seems to be very accurate (using an A/B custom drag profile), my personal dope at a 1000yrds with no wind was 8.9mil, when I got these I first tested them @ 1000 yards and it said 9.2 on a breezy day.. ended up being 9.2. The built in temp, pressure, humidity, and compass sensors are awesome. Cons: My previous rangefinder was only good to 600yrds (maybe), so I am not experienced in long range rangefinders, but I had a difficult time ranging a 9" steel target at 800 yards and a 20" steel target at 1000. The targets were painted white and it was a sunny day so maybe that is part of it? I knew the distances ahead of time but I had to repeatedly range the target until it gave me the distance I knew was correct. Sometimes the 800yrd target I'd have to range 15 times until it was correct. Maybe I'm being to picky, but come on, if you going to advertise 5000 yards, 800 should be easy. I honestly think part of the problem is the "reticle" in the bino's looks at to big of an area. I found out the very bottom center of the reticle gives me the most accurate results. If I put the target in the middle of the reticle it never gave me the correct distance. I wish it was more like a scope reticle where I aim directly at what I want to range, not put it into a 'window' and hope it ranges the object I want it to. Again, this is new to me so maybe I just need to figure out how to properly operate them. Hopefully it'll range a deer better than a steel target. Overall: If you need a set a binos and a rangefinder anyways, then I would recommend them. If you also getting into long range shooting then these are a no brainer. If I had to do it all over again I'd definitely still buy them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Josh from Missing the Mark Sig and Vortex both have done a great job on the tech side of the rangefinding binos, with the 10k now taking the lead. The problem is and will continue to be the glass quality !! In fact I personally know several people who have been pushed into the “big three” (Swaro/Lecia/Zeiss) trying to correct this problem and now having experienced alpha glass will likely never return to a mid tier unit. These 10k are obliviously “aimed” at long range shooters and no doubt do well in that regard but with the addition of better glass could easily scoop up a major chunk of the hunting crowd. I’m reluctant to spend the kind of money it takes to get into the alpha rangefinders, rivaling the expensive spotters I have, but am now strongly considering it trying to improve my glassing sessions. It’s my belief that Sig or Vortex has an open door to a huge gap in the market, they’ve got the tech… now get the glass !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by NTxSquatch from Fantastic unit! Bought these in November, got them 2 days before I left for an elk hunt. I used them to glass and range for a week. Not a glitch. Came home for whitetail season, and absolutely love them. Ranged a coyote at 1014yds, and barely missed the windage, shooting @ 10” off in 20mph wind. Vertical was perfect. Ranged an Aoudad at 909yds, but very little wind, so he wasn’t as lucky as the coyote. Took a hog at 664yds the next day in my wheat fields, after the sun set. This unit is fantastic. Right on par with Swarovski EL Range. Optical clarity, light transmission, and ranging capacity are great. The Applied Ballistic feature, while I don’t rely on it, has been dead on after calibrating for my 7mmMag and 300RUM. My only gripe is the center focus. It gets moved around riding with me either around my neck or in the case. Little irritating, but nothing new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Christopher R from Better than expected! Quality, easy setup, and affordable option for long range hunting and target shooting. I paired this with my kestrel but see no need to run both! We tested at multiple ranges out to 1200yds with quick and accurate results. Any level shooter can utilize this item, Vortex does a great job making sure educational materials are readily available. The fury’s prove to be a stand alone product!! I suggest checking these out for yourself!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Matthew F from Excellent vino/rangefinder So far very impressed with the Fury HD Binos/rangefinder. The app is easy to sync and program new rifles/loads. The response time on the rangefinder/ballistic adjustments is very quick. The center clarity on the glass is good. These aren't using Vortex's top of the line glass so don't expect super clear edge to edge clarity. So far have only ranged deer out to 300 and they sight picture was very clear and easy to range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nick J from Insane While still pricey, it’s hard to pass up such a good deal. For me, the lifetime warranty made this an easy decision. The glass on these is amazing, and the adjustments for the reticle clarity and the eye relief make these “tune able “ to any eye. The clarity at long range is unbelievable. So far I’ve had no issues ranging objects at 1300+ yrds. It is quick to return data when it gets a good hit on something. It does have trouble of regular terrain features at longer distances, but I’m not going to get engaging any animals out at those distances anyway. I’m excited to get these out on a long distance range with some reflective surfaces. The AB program is crazy detailed and provides a ton of shooting data. There’s definitely a steep learning curve but if you take the time to learn the features and menus, this thing will give you everything you need for accurate target solutions.
