1.0 out of 5 stars Product does not work

As other reviews have stated this product does not work.in the pictures I have the one I ordered from here (states low) but my original one from Walmart (exp 6/18/24) (states peak) used same urine dip. The product is not expired so it should have worked correctly. Been using this product for years and this is the first kit I ever got that’s defective. This product is defective, I only needed the sticks but you can not order the product (sticks) alone. I posted the expiration dates as well, and as you can see the new one eco 7/ 31/24. Others may truly need the kit and the fact that you pay for it and it does not work is truly upsetting.

Que es efectivo y te ayuda a saber tu día de ovulación con precisión

I had been tracking my ovulation window with an online tracker calendar and we kept trying around the "fertile window" but for 4 months nothing was happening. I am 28 my husband is 26. I started thinking it was an issue on my part.
Bought these, used 5 tests and it worked, now I'm 18 weeks pregnant. Turns out my tracker was predicting the wrong ovulation time. And 2 days before, I had taken the test and it showed the empty circle meaning not high chance. I skipped a day, took one the following day and didn't have the flashing smiley but the plain smiley meaning I was ovulating already. So take it in the morning on your first pee and don't assume anything with your body.
This test is pretty straightforward; you piss on the stick and read your result. For anyone stating this doesn't work, I'd like to think manufacturer error, but it is so easy, there's no way to incorrectly use this test. Worked for me and I'm happy with that.

We are TTC, my doc asked me to buy ovulation test so we can track my ovulation for insemination. The first month went great, took my meds the first could days, it gave me a couple negatives, then gave me two or three highs, then gave me a peak. Then the second month, now keep in mind my doc has informed us that we having unexplained infertility. She has found nothing wrong with me or him. The second month it gave me a negative the first day then it gave me 12 days in a row with high results. I stopped testing because we canceled the insemination because we couldn't be positive I had ovulated or if the tests were wrong. I've never had this issue with my regular test.

I started testing on CD 9 as on an average my cycle is of 29 Days . But, I failed to get accurate results on CD 9 & 10 because of not using properly. I really thought these tests are junkies as so many reviews are not convincing regarding this Advanced Clearblue Fertility Tests. Then, I got blank smileys on 6 days in a row CD 11, 12 ,13, 14 ,15 , 16 . On CD 17,18,19 I got Flashing Smileys three days in a row. And today On April 5, On CD 20, I got a Non-flashing Smiley. While in the test strips I didn't get any positive ovulation results yet this Cycle. I have been using test strips for more than a year. I am not able to get pregnant yet. So, I thought to give it a try and I got a positive ovulation result. And as it says that it predicts about 4 or more Fertility Days , I got 4 Fertile Days. I Ordered 2 Tests -10 each. But , the 2nd holder is defective . So, although I got my fertile days, I am giving it a 4 star.

I bought this thinking that Clearblue made refills for this type of test but it's just a 20 pack test. Nothing wrong with that just know they don't sell the refills individually. Hoping I won't have to use this next month because I finally got my nonflashing smiley :) I almost yelled out I was so happy! It's a little discouraging seeing the flashing smiley day after day but when it doesn't flash, it's almost like being told you're pregnant. Hahahaha. Also, I was told in forums that this helped some women realize they weren't ovulating each cycle and some others have been diagnosed PCOS. Keep track of your results and bring them to your doctor if they don't seem right. Good luck!

Good test and easy to read, but unfortunately about 8 of the 20 test sticks I ended up with error message and threw out then try again till a successful read. So the value in my opinion is low for so many wasted tests. I do appreciate the easy to read display of low high and peak, no questions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Purchased in June 2019, pregnant in July 2019!

Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on August 18, 2019

My husband and I started trying for a baby in March 2019. After four months with no joy, which included some months of ‘trying to be relaxed’, some months of tracking ovulation via a FLO app. and one month of using the Clear Blue Ovulation Tests which only give you a two day window, I was becoming increasingly upset that it wasn’t happening for us.

A friend, who has just given birth to a little girl last month, recommended the Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests, as they give you a bigger ‘run up’ to ovulation and highlight a four day window. They had worked for her on the second month of using them, and she fell pregnant on the fifth month of trying (in total).

Sure enough, I purchased these in June (as evidenced in the photo) and got pregnant the first month of using them (July 2019) after five months of trying in total. I am now 6 weeks pregnant and wanted to write a review to reassure any other women out there who, like me, may have turned to reading reviews like this for a bit of reassurance that it can and will happen!

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked first time!

Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on May 30, 2018

I have used the clear blue sticks before but never the advanced. I had read reviews that it really do help but couldn’t see what the difference would be. Well I fell pregnant the first month! Can’t beleiev it - it was super accurate, easy to use (read instructions carefully). I tested first thing in the morning from day 8 and just found out we are pregnant - so I can’t give a better review! It works.

4.0 out of 5 stars Careful when reading NEGATIVE reviews, also PCOS!

Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on May 26, 2021

Many people in the reviews seem to misunderstand how it works and provide false criticism, especially in the videos.

- Test can be used for more than seven days, but when you get peak fertility you need a new holder for your next cycle. They sell smaller boxes with only 10 tests or even a fertility monitor you can use continuously.

- One lady claimed it went from No Face to
Peak Fertility from one day to the other and criticised that there were no High Peak days. Her video however shows the smiley face flashing which is indeed High Fertility not Peak. Nevertheless, the little instruction manual says that whilst No Face or High Fertility usually happen first, you can also get Peak Fertility on the first day of testing. Keep an eye on the lines if you are in doubt. But calendar estimates are definitely not accurate as testing, many women don't have their ovulation at the estimated time. Some even have it before day 5-10.

- Getting the Static Smiley Face means your ovulation will happen in the next 24-36 hours. So you can mark your ovulation as tomorrow. (For the first time ever that matches my Flo app estimate.)

- If you have PCOS try to stabilise your period for a couple of month and then start testing. Previously my body had long periods or would skip them altogether even whilst on inositol and metformin. During one of these long stretches I move to a long carb/high fat diet as an experiment. Within two weeks I got my period and have been getting it regularly since, even down to 31 days! Exercise also helps, when not exercising regularly my cycle would go up to 37 days.

After a long time of trying with no success DW and I opted for these. According to DW very easy to use.

Began to worry when we got to day 10 without no " peak smiley face" however that changed on day 11.

2 weeks later we had to buy a pregnancy test which showed 1-2 weeks pregnant.

Perfect

4.0 out of 5 stars Detected my highly fertile and peak days

Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on January 29, 2019

So we are now in the stages of TTC and thus far I have been tracking my previous 3 cycles to get to grips with the length and the pattern. I have used one step ovulation strips throughout, and was curious about Clearblue as it detects Estrogen as well as LH. For me, It detected two days high fertility, and detected the Peak on the 3rd day of using it.

All in all I do really like this product; I went from blank circle to flashing smiley to static so it delivers what it says on the box, and I knew when to start testing a bit more frequently in the lead up to my surge. Would I buy these in exchange for One step cheaper alternative ovulation strips? Probably not, as they have been reliable for me also. If you want to find out when you are highly fertile before your peak, then CB advanced does something no other test strip does and gives you those extra days, so you're covered on DTD when you need to. Biggest downside of course is price, and you can't buy the strips on their own, you'll have to buy the whole pack again. So that critique is solely based on what you are willing to pay.

This will vary woman to woman, so finding the right product that works for you is greatly important. I would suggest if you are at the beginning stages of TTC or finding out if you do surge, go for the cheaper alternative first, and turn to this should you not get the accuracy you need.

What does 2 lines on a clear blue ovulation test mean?

Two solid lines: Two solid lines means that both the control line and the test line have darkened. If the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line, this means the test has detected an LH surge. You can expect to ovulate within 24 to 36 hours.

Does a faint line on ovulation test mean ovulation is coming?

The hormone that ovulation tests are looking for, luteinizing hormone (LH), peaks right before ovulation, but is present throughout your cycle. So a faint test line means a little LH was detected, but not enough to indicate an LH surge which happens right before ovulation.

What does a positive ovulation test look like clear blue?

High Fertility - a flashing smiley face - When the test first detects a rise in your level of estrogen it will display High Fertility (a flashing smiley face). Your result will be displayed for 8 minutes. - In the following days the test will continue to display High Fertility whilst it looks for your LH surge.
